Nestled in a coveted location, The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai garners acclaim for its proximity to pristine beaches, local shopping, and dining venues. While the hotel's ambiance and meticulous attention to detail have been lauded, some guests find the noise levels and dated aspects less appealing.
The luxurious amenities, including sumptuous pools and a private beach, are celebrated, as is the cleanliness upheld throughout the property. The staff's exceptional service is a consistent highlight, although opinions on the hotel's value for money vary, with some guests questioning the cost of extras.

This is a beautiful and grand hotel, conveniently located near the Dubai Marina and JBR. Guests have access to lovely pools and a private beach. The rooms and bathroom are very spacious, there is good lighting, a huge full length mirror, a separate toilet and closet with safe and wardrobe space. The balcony we had was big and overlooking the resort and the sea which was lovely! Bottled water is provided in the abundance which is well needed in the heat. Housekeeping do a great job and the Asprey toiletries are lovely.
Breakfast provides a great varied selection of hot and cold food. The room we had was fairly traditional looking but I think there might be other, more modern rooms.
We could see construction work from the balcony and beach, but couldn’t hear any noise so it didn’t pose a problem. Reception very kindly gave us early check in and late check out.
As we were celebrating our anniversary they surprised us with a cake, we also had fresh fruit in the room. We only tried La Baie restaurant for lunch, it was average but we preferred to eat out of the hotel as there are so many places in Dubai! Overall, I’d have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Our family of 6 stayed 7 nights at the Ritz Carlton Beachfront in 2 interconnecting suites after 7 nights at the Ritz Carlton DIFC. We had a perfect stay at the DIFC, the staff were exceptional in their kindness and service. Our expectations were therefore set quite high on arriving at the Ritz Carlton Beachfront.
We upgraded to 2 Luxe suites with guaranteed ocean views and expansive wrap around balconies with lounge chairs. However, unfortunately we were given only one suite with this description. The other was a normal suite, with no upgrade features and clearly different. Despite mentioning this on arrival with the club check-in staff and more importantly paying for the second room upgrade, no compensation/refund was given. Both suites were nevertheless still comfortable, beautifully appointed and clean.
The resorts location on the Beachfront is fabulous. The beach and pools were fantastic, the staff very helpful and attentive, handing out water, fruits and even popcorn!
The club lounge was superb with all day dining available and included in our package. From the lunches, afternoon teas and evening canapés (which was more than substantial for dinner) we were never hungry! The lunches and dinners varied each day with changing menus/themes.
Special mention to Club staff Indra, Patel, Belle and Nadia for making our visit enjoyable. These members of the Ritz Carlton Club team made such a difference to our stay.
The buffet breakfast in the main hotel was lovely, the Indian corner in particular was outstanding. The Indian chef (?name) went out of his way to ensure we were looked after, cooking special dishes for us to try.
Only recommendation would be for staff to monitor what children are doing around the buffet at breakfast. Saw many kids, out of the parents eyeshot, handling food, putting item back after touching them or even coughing over dishes.... an obvious turn off not to mention safety/health concern. Having said that, it is clearly the parents responsibility to control their children and make sure others guests are not disadvantaged or placed at risk. Perhaps a rule that children are not allowed near the food areas without adult supervision would be helpful.
We dined once at the Blue Jade. The food was very tasty however portions small and very expensive. The staff were lovely and overall we enjoyed our dining experience here.
Our stay at the Ritz Carlton Beachfront was overall pleasant and comfortable. We did prefer the DIFC, though the Beachfront location is obviously a plus.

Dear 46luckyl, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your valuable feedback. Although we are happy to know you enjoyed your overall experience at our resort we would like to acknowledge and apologize for those aspects where we failed to exceed your expectations. Your comments on your room allocation will be investigated with our Club lounge team to understand the error in allocating you the correct rooms. Your concern for the food safety at breakfast is very valid and will be highlighted with out Food and Beverage and Culinary teams. We are grateful for your appreciation of our Club Lounge team and will certainly pass on your feedback to them. We do hope these elements did not take away from what we hope was a memorable stay and you will give us another opportunity to welcome you back and deliver the true Ritz-Carlton experience. My wife and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Ritz-Carlton and it was absolutely brilliant in every respect.
The hotels location cannot be bettered. JBR walk at the front of the hotel is fantastic for an after dinner stroll, as is the Dubai Marina which is also very close by. At the rear there is a beautiful and very extensive pool and garden area leading down to a private section of Jumeirah Beach. Although Dubai is a very spaced out city, all the places a tourist would want to visit are very accessible from this location using the hop on hop off buses, the Metro, or the very reasonably priced taxis.
The hotel itself is lovely and very classy! There are 6 excellent restaurants serving food of the highest quality. Breakfast in the Caravan Restaurant is the perfect start to the day. Our favourite for dinner was the Blue Jade which is an Asian fusion restaurant, however we can highly recommend them all.
The best thing about this hotel though is the staff. We have never been served so well at any hotel, anywhere on our extensive travels, neither have we been made such a fuss of by the staff. At every location in the hotel the staff were ultra friendly, superbly professional and simply could not do enough for us. It is perhaps a little unfair to make special mention of individuals because every single one of them was brilliant. That said, we must especially thank Jerick in the Caravan Restaurant, Ariel in Guest Services, and the three Housekeeping guys who looked after our room.
A big thank you to all at the hotel, we will definitely be back.
Finally a word about Dubai itself, a BRILLIANT place to visit.

Ritz Carlton JBR Dubai
We are well traveled family which has been to top destination globally. It is so saddening to be at this hotel in Dubai as it cannot compare to any Ritz Carlton in the world. Its very poorly managed, under staffed and doesn’t give you that royal welcoming feeling and quality as we are used to. Lots of signs of wear and lack of maintenance, swimming pool is not very clean, carpets dirty, walls peeling, beach umbrellas with tears in them, sun bed cushions extremely poor condition. Pool water temperature is very hot unlike other hotels of same rank and lower, water served is not cold, so many restrictions. Staff very arrogant and not willing to take a further effort to make guest welcome and much much more poor management flaws that are very visible and leading that Ritz in Dubai to loose its glamour and reputation. Check in experience was way below what is usually expected, bell captain service as well. Having in mind that this is a hard time for everyone during this Covid-19 period and that everyone is trying their best to maintain that quality of service to meet the high expectations of spending customers, this hotel is absolutely way below what it should be. We went to two other hotels to see if there was something wrong with us, but from what we saw at the other hotels, your hotel was below expectations. You have to wait quite some time for the taxi to come unlike at other hotels as well. You must call house keeping to come clean your room, in other hotels they do it twice a day even in corona time without your calling them. The beach area is not raked, lots of garbage and debris all over, bird droppings on sun beds and the list goes on. No one assists you in opening su umbrellas and placing towels on sun beds as well. You are not allowed to drink water by the pool, we had water all day long by the pool at other hotels of same rank without staff running at you yelling that it’s not allowed. This hotel presents itself as a 5 star hotel, but this specific location doesn’t even suit that level, it’s a 3 three star feeling. Only thing we can say that was good is the food quality at all your restaurants. Virginia from the reception welcomed us in a very inpolite way. She should have much better customer service skills and training than she currently does. Here are the photos of this "luxury"hotel.

Amazing experience at this top notch property. The rooms are beautiful and location is perfect, close to everything. The pool is incredible and the beach area is super nice. Breakfast buffet is vary good with a lot of food options from different countries.
The best this hotel offers is the service, they have an impeccable team willing to assist every time with a smile, they are all hoteliers at heart it’s incredible how all of them are synchronized to give you a warm welcome and a great smile always looking out for you ( Rosa at the front desk) is this person super attentive and reflects that she truly loves her work and what she does, she made us feel welcome everyday she made us feel like family, she always called us by the last name never forgot our names, this is a top notch employee a truly gem for this hotel.
Others employees that stands out were Míl and Arthur at the concierge always patiently helping us with a smile. Charles (who always remembered out names) and Ariel at the bell desk out side were amazing. Husain our room attendant was super sweet with his towels creations and flowers made us feel like home everyday and the room was impeccable.
Letizia and Virginia at the front desk were amazing and very attentive to our needs.

I would like to point out that this hotel is not in the best condition, everything is quite worn down and out of date ( photos that are on the site do not justify actual conditions of hotel property). Check in experience is quite below expectations Staff are not that welcoming and you don't have that sincere feeling, they do not even appreciate guests especially ones that paying for two rooms and are not even offered an upgrade or some special benefits. Their management only reached out to us when a review was written about our dissatisfaction and they blackmailed us to delete review in order to upgrade us. This property is at an excellent location, but sadly the complete property shows great signs of lack of upgrade and maintenance. They do not have cold showers at pool areas, pool temperature is not as cool as it should be, beach umbrellas and beach beds are torn and rusted, beach is not raked or cleaned as there is so much trash all around and no one really cares, lifeguards and Secretry only looking at mobile phones and chatting not paying attention to guests. When we arrived they served water that wasn't cold at the pool and beach area, until we brought it up to the management and only then you could notice the change. We complained about lots of things as the hotel really showed great signs of poor management in every regard. Starting from checking in to quality of room
( switch sockets, curtains one room had automated other didn't, do not disturb sign one room had hanging sign while other had digital one, the room control touch pad didn't work well in the upgraded room, carpets were dirty, walls were peeling in many areas of hotel, near the kids pool a step on the bridge is very wobbly and an accident waiting to happen, torn umbrellas at beach, lists just goes on) After going to the Mexico property and Aruba property, this one was way below every expectation. I understand that we were all hit with covid 19, and that there was a period of no customers, but this is no way to welcome back customers. Lots of other hotels in the same price range offered much superior services and tried way harder to please us. Only place that was excellent at this hotel was the Restaurant Blue Jade ( everyone was exceptional there). I really had great expectations for this hotel, but after going to this one I will think twice before I decided to go to any one of their hotels again. In my opinion they can do much better, it all comes down to the management ( if I were management, I would feel ashamed). Photos are there to justify what I mean!

A superb seven night stay for us at the Ritz-Carlton.
It’s a six storey hotel with gardens that open onto the beach. The main pool area was calm with ample sun beds well spaced in natural or parasol shade. This was good for us as the temperature was pushing 40C all week. The pool staff were friendly and efficient.
Due to the seasonal heat the outdoor restaurants were not available which left us the options of Splendido(Italian),
Blue Jade(Pan Asian) both of which had good options for half board guests with small supplements for premium items. The black cod in Blue Jade had a £18 supplement which my wife swore was worth every penny. I just swore....£18. Joking apart the menus were extensive and the portions Dubai sized. Caravan was another option, a buffet restaurant with a varied selection of cuisine from around the world. There is also a dine around option with over 100 restaurants in the Marriott Bonvoy group in Dubai participating.
Aravind was our daily guy from housekeeping. He was truly outstanding. Our contentment seemed to be his soul intention. Flowers in the room, petals on the bed, towel sculptures....each time we praised and thanked him he would try to excel himself the following day. An exceptional young man who would do well in any customer facing role in the hotel.
We opted for half board in a club room. The club room as described on the website and by our travel agent came with additional benefits of access to the club lounge which served breakfast, a light lunch, afternoon tea, drinks before dinner and chocolates after dinner. This brief description does the club lounge no justice. From lunch service through to after dinner chocolates there is a full drinks service at no additional cost, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages included. We have never had such in any of the club lounges we have previously frequented. Quite apart from this, the staff in the lounge, chefs waiting staff and reception staff were amazing. The cliche “nothing is too much trouble” was made for all the staff in the lounge. Vanilla, Nadia, Mumta, Kissy, Darwin, Indra, Shazab, Albert, thank you to you all and apologies to any that I have missed.
It is fair to say that this property will be the first we will look at when we next journey to or through Dubai.

My wife and I booked this last minute short break to Dubai and after the disappointing service at another hotel decided to try this one on a friend’s recommendation. We stayed 5 nights on a HB package with club facilities. Overall the staff are extremely helpful and polite as you would expect, and we were very lucky to have a lady called Apsana looking after our room, she is a credit to the hotel. We had a King Room with balcony on the fourth floor, the room was a good size, very clean and modern with a large comfortable bed, there is not much else you need. All rooms have a view of the sea, ours was a side view but good enough and I suggest you need to be on the fourth floor or above to really appreciate it. Restaurants on site are great as is the club floor, but I expect this may be very busy during peak times and I am not sure we really got the best value from it. The pools are good and with direct access to the sea front via a private beach and with being on the JBR there is always something going within walking distance if you do want to get out of the hotel . Drinks as with anywhere in Dubai are not cheap but I do recommend a night cap in the library bar.

The Ritz Carlton Dubai is a spectacular property that combines a wonderful location, classy property, and a spectacular team! We have stayed at the property for about three months now and cannot speak highly enough of the entire team who make you feel special everyday while staying here which speaks volumes of the quality service provided. The entire breakfast team from Paksah, Mary, Jerrick, Neeraj the chef, Joshua, Emmanuel, and the management team led by Daniel continue to impress even as the breakfast guest count continues to rise weekly. The housekeeping team does a consistently good job everyday which makes us relaxed coming back to the room. The retail shop team with Amelia and Anelyn are very helpful with playing tennis daily. We can’t speak highly enough of the Lounge Team led by Patel and including Nadia, Indra, Kissy, and Silvester. All five of them are truly special individuals, take great care of us, are all so personable and funny, and take great pride in their jobs. I have never encountered such a great lounge leader than Patel in all my hundreds of previous stays at Marriott properties. The pool team does a great job of being responsive and taking care of us every time we go. The spa team including Suphanee and Luh is wonderful and provide incredible treatments. The Blue Jade team including Glaiza and Emily always take good care of us. The front desk team led by Yousef does an amazing job and always helpful (especially when we forget our keys). The bell hops are always friendly and welcoming. The security guards are friendly and personable. Even the finance guy Saurav is so helpful when we needed assistance. Rajesh is still the international man of mystery who pops out of nowhere and always so nice and helpful. The true superstar of the property is Virginia who always goes out of her way to warmly welcome us, say goodbye to us, provide special items in the room, and assists with so many random things while we are there. She will surely be an incredible GM one day if that is the path she wants to pursue. So much credit goes to the fabulous GM Mr. Elmendorp. He leads this incredible group of people and goes out of his way to ensure his team takes good care of us and personally welcomes us upon arrival. Staying at a property for so long allows for the increased possibility of having random issues and challenges but the consistent amazing service across all departments is truly a reflection of the pride, passion, and commitment to quality service that Jeroen and his entire team provides as it clearly comes from the top down. Kudos to the entire Ritz Carlton team as they are truly special!!!

Just home from a 2 week stay. We had a room on the 6th floor which allowed Club Access. The bedroom was looked after beautifully and our requests for extra towels and DND at certain tines to allow us to work were remembered daily.
The grounds and pools are beautiful and all staff offer a personal touch. From Manesh who looks after you throughout the day to Jerick at breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Tarigh and Indira who work you really hard in the gym but always with so much energy. And Raquel and Monthel who annoyingly beat us at badminton but we will be back next year for a rematch after we have practiced A LOT!!
All the restaurants are fantastic but La Baie has a laid back, relaxed vibe with simple delicious food and great tunes. Perfect to while away an evening with a cocktail!
The Ritz Carlton has the perfect location to explore JBR The Walk and also the Marina and a far.
We couldn’t fault anything and would return in a heart beat.
Ross & Shelley x

Dear guest,
thank you for your question. The food and beverages are to be consumed in the club lounge only. Restaurants will be charging for the same.
Kind regards,
The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai
They did offer an upgrade to us - so they likely would do if they have availability I guess.
