Overall, we enjoyed our week at this hotel in November. Without question it is a very nice hotel when compared to the majority of other hotels but we left feeling it fell short of what Ritz-Carlton stands for.
The positives: Great location on the JBR;...More
We have just returned from a lovely week at Ritz Carlton. Hotel has many mixed reviews on TA but on the whole is a good hotel. We arrived to a lovely, friendly welcome and were taken to club lounge which we had very kindly had...More
We came here from the U.S. for our honeymoon and the Ritz was the first place we stayed in Dubai. Upon arrival we were presented with fresh juice and our room was decked out with rose petals, chocolate and a small cake. Those touches make...More
Amazing for Friday brunch. Went with 2 resident friends. Themed around London and the tube - great idea! The food was out of this world. Christian our waiter was lovely. We had a feast of food from around the world. Will never forget the experience....More

It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next
to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.

We were also on the half board package. The Palm Grill is not included in that package and you cannot use this on the package deal. You can however use it if you wish to pay full price. I would think you would be fine just to book table reservations when there but cannot be certain. I do not believe any of the restaurants are age restricted. This is a child friendly hotel.

There are plenty of sun loungers on the beach. If you cannot find an available one, I am sure the beach boy will locate another for you. Be sure to ask the beach boy for a cooler with bottled water. The beach can get quite warm. As far as breakfast, we ate outdoors every morning. It is quite refreshing and enjoyable.
our stay was not upset by the construction noise as the real noise was caused by the piling work which was earlier this year. Secondly if their is noise the gardens and the beach will allow you to escape the noise.
