♥️♥️♥️ Is there a word other than excellent? Thats it. The staff were amazingly good, always willing to help, supportive and helpful. The environment is great clean and quiet as I like. Their food is also good.
We stayed 2 adults and 2 kids (5 & 7) at Mina A'Salam and this place is a gem !!! it was the fist time in Dubaï for my mother and clearly the hotel made the difference. This place is very unique ! This hotel in right on a beautiful beach with amazing views... the pools around are incredible, there is even an infinity pool where you can go with the kids !!! awesome! we visited twice the wild wadi water park and the kids loved it. The park is super well organized, super clean and there are some many life guards arounds the pools/tubes that you don't have even to worry. There are life jakets available in several sizes which is very convenient. The staff in the hotel is amazing, I also really loved the e-buttler Whatsapp tool, through which we could book taxis, restaurants, etc... very efficient. The food is also amazing !!! you can chose any restaurant they are all delicious. As a family we loved the buffet restaurant in Mina A'Salam, the Chef is so friendly and always makes sure we are happy with the food. The hotel is centrally located and it is very easy to reach many touristic places/activities whithin reasonnable time. Taxis are always quickly available in front of the hotel. If you are looking for a place to stay in Dubaï, do not investigate further, Mina A'Salam or the Jumeirah Resort is definitely the place to stay. I can only recommand and we will for sure come back as soon as we can ! :-)…
Really enjoyed staying at Mina A Slam great for families breaky buffet very helpful with fussy kids. Gave us plenty of water. Abra was fun an relaxing. Restaurant were a little pricey but lovely. Highly recommended.
The Mina is our favourite Hotel of the Jumeirah group. Its a shame that in Dubai things change. Thats the problem with Dubai, they don;t know when to stop. In our opinion the Mina had gone down hill since it had opened. Change for the sake of change. Not good. However having visited again it would seem that things are on the up. They have refreshed the rooms and the hotel has been given a spruce up. They need to re-instate the fountain in the lobby and bring the coffee pots back for the doors. Its lost its Arabic charm . The food throughout the resort has also improved and that is very welcome. Still think its a little churlish to charge you for water at dinner time when they give it to you for free throughout the hotel though. Overall we were pleased with our visit and are pleased to see the quality standards are being raised to previous levels. There is still one thing that seriously ruins the entire Jumeirah experience and thats kids. The entire Jumeirah estate is over run with screaming kids. They really have to do something about it. The only refuge is the Mina pool although we still get some there but not as many as elsewhere as there is little for them at the Mina or the Adults only pool at the Naseem, but there are not many sunbeds round there and the life guards there are the most miserable and sour people you will ever encounter. At meal times the restaurants really need to segregate tables with kids because I don't want to hear someones little darling screaming /shouting / throwing a tantrum because it way past their bed time whilst I have my meal or others watching some irritating cartoon on repeat on an ipad at loud volumes without headphones.…
This is our 2nd time to Dubai, on this occasion we decided to stay on the Jumeriah beach and at the Mina A Salam. We were not disappointed at all!! We were greeted by the lovely staff on arrival, our bags were taken and tagged. Receptionist welcoming, our room was ready for us, I had emailed the hotel and requested an early check as we had an early flight arrival, I also told the hotel we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and if we could have a quiet room with full ocean view and that’s exactly what we were given on the 6th floor. Plenty of water daily left in our room. The rooms were large, lovely bathroom. I understand the rooms will soon be redecorated to keep up to date which will make them even lovelier! The hotel has a lovely feel to it, calm, elegant, Arabian, sophisticated, very very clean, respectful staff everything 5 star. The location is excellent, the Jumeriah beach is spotless! Bar and lounge area inside and out just beautiful. The beach staff excellent, plenty of sun loungers, towels and cold iced water daily. You can order drinks and food by the press of a buzzer from your sun lounger with breathtaking views of the Burj a larab! Breakfast is excellent, beautiful infinity pool on the beach. Separate large pool favoured by families. We had complimentary half board included in our stay, options limited with surcharges for signature restaurants. Definitely go to the Pad Thai at the Al Qasr- we had an exceptional anniversary meal there. You can use the Abras to get about from one hotel to the other and to the Madinant Souk or just a short tour. We would definitely be back to Dubai and stay here again in a heart beat!…
Thanks for your response Mr Simpson, I came there with view to invest in your new hotel. After seeing your poor service and no matter how many times I told front desk about my frustration and past experience, there was NO form of apology just lip service that the staff who were there pre COVID are no longer there. Why would I ruin another holiday by staying at Mina A’Salam. Dubai is full of hotels that are way cheaper and have the top end service .
This hotel has to be the best location in Dubai to travel anywhere very central. Very clean and service is impeccable staff are so polite. Nothing is a problem when you stay here . The restaurants are the best that I have ever experienced.
I’ve stayed at this resort many times and feel this would have been my last visit there. The cut backs are very high but the room rates are dearer. Old staff have left since COVID and not returned. There is no understanding of frustration and poor communication. I went to celebrate my 50th birthday. The hotel gave be a cake 1cm x 12 cm. I had to get a ruler out in shock. I had to constantly ask for replenishment amenities for 3 including basic mugs. We didn’t receive fresh fruit bowls, towel art, turn down as we once did everyday. My room rate was £350 pn it’s B&B. I could have stayed in a hotel chain and receive better service. I will be writing to the CEO.
I took my boyfriend for a staycation here and The staff made our stay very special! There Is many delicious restaurants, several pools, amazing view and a lot things to do eg watersports, Spa and gym. Loved our stay!
We have stayed at this hotel a total of 6 times and on arrival you are expected to hand over a credit or debit card for a deposit. This time I payed with debit card as I didn’t have my credit card. On check out I was handed an invoice for a £300 refund from the deposit I payed and was told it would be payed within 10 working days and despite contacting the hotel numerous times we have not received a refund. Although this is not a lot in comparison to the cost of the holiday it is the principle, I would not trust this hotel with a penny again. We have already left one review (see attached photo) to which the hotel responded they would be in contact which they haven’t. If hotel would like to contact me to finally refund me then email Shaneemryspritchard@gmail.com.
