We stayed at Al Tronco for more than a week. I love everything about this place and the city of Sucre. The place is well decorated and spotless. I feel completely comfortable, like it's my own home. The view is beautiful. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped for a B&B. Breakfast (not included) is amazing and well worth it! The...

Excellent service and beautiful small hotel located above the city center near the recoleta. It was easy to walk to the city center or grab a taxi, and being away from the center ensures a beautiful view and peaceful accommodations. The place was sparkling clean as well. A couple things to note: There is a kitchen available for use There...

This is the nicest accommodation we have had during our two month stay in South America (and I'm sure it will be the best of our entire three month trip). The room, kitchen and common area were all clean, comfortable and well decorated. Returning to Casa Al Tronco after a day in the city or a trek in the mountains...

Ebo and Tania are wonderful hosts, and have a beautiful Home that they share with their guests. The rooms are immaculate, artistic and quirky! They are more stylish than any art hotel I've stayed at in Aus/London- really funky! They provide wonderful hand drawn maps and written guides to the area and are on hand always to answer any questions...

We had a delightful stay at Casa al Tronco. This was one of the best places we stayed on our three month tour through South America. Tania and Ebo are extremely welcoming and full of great tips and advice. The inn has a beautiful setting; our room had a panoramic view of the mountains and city. Everything was really well...

Myself and my partner spent the year traveling around South East Asia and South America and Casa Al Tronco was possibly the best place we stayed throughout our entire trip. The couple that run it are great, the rooms are great, the facilities are great, the view is great, the location (although it's on quite a steep hill) is great....

Amazing place! We just loved it and even stayed an extra day in Sucre. I just can't remember what is NOT great about the place :) Everything is just perfect. When we just arrived, Tania gave us those adorable hand-drawn maps and helpful tips. The room was very nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. A terrace at the top is the...

Immaculate and artistically decorated rooms, homely living area including informative local movies & DVDs and friendly and informative owners who arranged our trip on the brilliant ferrobus to Potosi. The kitchen was huge, brilliantly equipped and had a terrace perfect...

In a very atmospheric Bolivian street, high on the hill in the Recoleta district, hidden behind a very ordinary entrance, is this marvellous guesthouse with 3 very different rooms on 3 levels. I stayed in the spacious lower room for 5 nights in mid-Sept 2014. Whilst it did not have a view of the city, like the other 2 rooms...
