We have now stayed at the Samary 4 or 5 times over the past three years, each time for at least two weeks. It is a beautiful place, right in the center of town...yet peaceful and quiet. Great staff, nice rooms, wonderful showers (a rarity in Bolivia) excellent breakfasts with a staff willing to make whatever you want.

Just cross the hotel door of this small and charming hotel, leaving out the crowded streets of Sucre, and you feel immediately home, in a oasis of peace. Quiet spanish patio with the spacious rooms facing it. The hotel is very well redesigned with comfortable beds. Wonderful city view from breakfast terrace on the top floor. Highly recommended choice.

Arrived two days early after a disastrous trip to Potosi. Hotel couldn't have been better ! Lovely colonial style with a beautifully kept inner courtyard. Higher floors have great views over the rooftops of sucre! Centrally located and in easy walking distance of main attractions and good restaurants. The team who work here are lovely and friendly and make you...

You can't ask for more: Beautiful colonial building, spacious rooms, lovely decoration, large, comfortable beds, great location, polite service, plus a good price. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and not even look for anything else.

Mi Pueblo Samary Hotel is an absolute jewel. Three floors of rooms face onto a beautiful central courtyard with small fountain and a variety of flowering and scented plants. The standard of decor is very high with lots of Inca style stone wall plaques. The rooms themselves are spacious and comfortable with modern fittings and oodles of hot water. Breakfast...

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights. All started nicely with warm welcome by the receptionist after an arranged transfer from the hotel on 1st day. Bed is comfortable & bathroom is spacious. For our 2nd day, we'd arranged full day private tour with agency suggested (even money is paid directly to) by the hotel so we were...

Rooms are great, clean, comfortable. Service is perfect, the lady at the reception is so nice! The location is perfect. It is calm but still close to the main square of the city. Go there! It is a great option.

After our trip we figured we would treat ourselves to some luxery and we weren't disappointed! The staff is really friendly, english is spoken and they are very helpful. The first night we stayed in room 21(double...

After bad experiences in Uyuni and Potosi, this one lifted our spirits and expectations of Bolivia. Location - perfect, nearby restaurant but maintained a quiet area and far from touristic sites. Room - we were given a corner room with balcony. decorations are simple and functional. The safe/locker was working. Bathroom has 2 shower heads (with colors to distinguish the...

What an absolutely lovely place! My wife and I visited for our first anniversary. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, the few sounds from the street faded away. The service was excellent--all the receptionists and bellhops (is that still a term?) were incredibly polite, friendly, and helpful. When we off-handedly asked if they'd seen a sweater I'd misplaced,...
