This is quite a big place, maybe 40 rooms? The room was spacious and warm with lots of hot water for the shower. We were the only guests as far as we could see/hear. The breakfast buffet had 2 cups, 2 bowls, 2 plates and 2 small containers of yogurt set out for us. There were a couple of very...

My experience could be a little biased, because I was expecting a Hotel, but this place is a Hostal. Good things: 1) maybe the location. Things to improve: 1) clean the rooms (specially carpets); 2) modest client support; 3) maybe a small place to put some water and cookies in the rooms.

I spent four nights here, the owner Gabriela Ortega speaks excellent English and very helpful. My bedroom was spotlessly clean. The hotel is situated on on a hilly road but I noticed that local buses and taxis pass the hotel. The breakfast is typically similar to food found in many hotels in both Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. We sayed at Santa Teresa for two weeks in Sept 2012. The rooms are tidy, quiet and spotless. The staff are incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist. We were sick while there and the staff recommended a hospital/doctor, and brought us nice cups of tea that were apparently good for the stomach. The regular staff only speak...
