Very beautiful hotel in the heart of UMich campus, so quite convenient. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were not friendly or unfriendly, just neutral. The valet guys were very supportive and friendly though. Unfortunately I'm allergic to down pillows and the synthetic ones in the cupboard smelled bad. I also didn't like the scratchy and chemical smell of the towels although I know that's the norm at hotels. And I just couldn't get the room temperature to what I was looking for. The hotel didn't wow me, but it was alright for a short visit. Like, the breakfast was limited but at least there was breakfast and the essentials were there. I liked how there were lots of seating in the hotel reception and the dining area, I saw people doing zoom meetings there! Overall, would definitely stay there again and would definitely recommend it.…

The staff were extremely helpful with alot of arrangement issues from hotels.com. The rooms were recently updated, gorgeous, wonderful mattress, fluffy pillow, plenty of towels, amenities. It was right in the heart of the campus, so convenient for everyone and everything. I would highly recommend this hotel..

What a disappointment after staying in other very nice hotels in Ann Arbor. I booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms, bathrooms, and even the closets were claustrophobically small and looked out onto brick walls. The hot water didn't work, when we called, the front desk said they "forgot" to tell us at check in, that the water had to run for 30 min to get hot because it was an old building. MInimal other toiletries - so bring your own if you want to stay clean. You get a silver dollar sized bar of cheap soap per day (although they "forgot" to service the room one day). The health club was the smallest and most ill-equiped of any hotel I have visited. The free, 24h/day coffee and tea consisted of one, always empty cannister. This is a small hotel, yet the front desk couldn't be bothered to say hello or smile at any point in our stay. Were we bothering them? The location was the only redeeming feature, right across from Hill Auditorium. "Valet" parking (we parked and usually retrieved our own car) is an extra 25$ a day. The heat/AC was extremely loud and we had to get blankets to stay warm overnight. Many other excellent places to stay in AA with much more friendly and caring staff.…

Bells tower has a great location in Ann Arbor, near to the Dental School and other area of the University of Michigan. The staff is very friendly and cordial. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is well served but there are no fruits available, only bananas.

Unbelievable! I accidentally booked a room through Expedia at 9pm yesterday and MINUTES LATER realized it was for YESTERDAY! Clearly it was a mistake and Expedia told me they couldn't refund me but the hotel could. I called and was connected to "Karen" who literally told me she would refund my money IF I booked another room for this weekend which I was initially trying to do. However, I was told by the person before her that the only rooms available had to be booked for two nights at $1000.00 dollars a NIGHT!!! I then spoke with the manager who also proceeded to use blackmail telling me he would refund me IF I booked the 2k room as well! This is fraudulent, and appalling customer service! It is absolutely unacceptable and I will continue to pursue a resolution!! I am waiting on a response from the general manager currently! 😡…

As I have explained to you, you paid Expedia, not the hotel. You did not book the reservation for the previous night. I doubt they would allow it. But with that said, you booked a reservation with Expedia, paid Expedia and expect the hotel to refund you?

Clean and quiet hotel with a good location near the U of Michigan downtown campus. Room was comfortable. A/C ran quietly. Some nice amenities, but there was no refrigerator in the room. The staff was helpful and the breakfast offerings ample. Stayed on a Tuesday, so can’t say how quiet it is on football weekends. Would stay here again.

My husband and I spent 1 night at the BELL TOWER and enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and professional and accommodating. The room was very clean and the TV and makeup mirror in the bathroom were nice touches for a comfortable stay. The valet parking was very efficient and the free continental breakfast gave us a great start to our day.

Great hotel, central to all things UMich! Very clean, nice furnishings, polite staff, convenient valet service. The breakfast was just okay but I’m guessing it’s due to covid and restrictions. I wish they wouldn’t bump their rates up for family weekend!
