We booked the entire facility for our annual board of directors retreat. Our visitors from across the country universally enjoyed their stay here. The venue was perfect for safe and efficient meetings and accommodations all in one place. The neighborhood is lovely for walking and the central campus and the Nichols arboretum are only about a mile away. This is so much more pleasant (and more economical) than an impersonal hotel. Unique guest rooms, friendly staff, sunlit meeting room, and plenty of space to spread out - what's not to like. We can't wait to book our next retreat here!

What a pleasure to stay at the Stone Chalet Bed and Breakfast Inn! Our room was comfortable and cozy, with attention to what travelers need: plenty of towels, an incredibly comfortable bed (Temperdic), and top notch toiletries. We loved the cooked to order, delicious breakfasts: served in the spacious dining room. We would happily stay again on future visits to Ann Arbor!

We loved this place. It is run by a family and is very homey and comfortable. Our room was a good size with a fireplace and a comfortable bed and seating. It is an easy walk to U of M. The breakfast is great - there are a variety of options, you order online the night before and can order whatever you want. The food is delicious. We look forward to staying here the next time that we are in Ann Arbor.

I was expecting the usual type of theme rooms. So I was really surprised when our room was a Harry Potter theme! And such attention was paid to details too. Room and bed were very comfortable and very clean. Clean is very important to me! Daisy the proprietor was very kind and showed me all the rooms with the different themes that were not currently occupied. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I would suggest an upstairs room as it sounded like Godzilla was rampaging through Tokyo above us at night.

This was SUCH a charming bed and breakfast, with whimsical rooms decorated lovingly around a theme - ours was Bambi/Disney, with hangers labeled for each of the 7 dwarves, a lovely metal crown, and several Disney books scattered around the room. The effect was warm and loving, not kitschy. The room across the hallway was Game of Thrones, and another was Alice in Wonderland. It’s situated in a neighborhood with gorgeous homes, and an easy walk to the University of Michigan - maybe a mile away. The breakfast was good - quiche, Picasso melon, tea with 7 kinds of sweetener available, coffee - bacon and three other kinds of breakfast meats available, as well as cream of wheat and other options. The only downside was that we didn’t choose to spend our whole vacation at this B&B - the poor next hotel couldn’t measure up! Highly, highly recommend.…

The Stone Chalet is an absolutely lovely establishment run by a wonderful couple! My partner and I stayed in the "Grand" room, which was impeccably furnished, extremely comfortable, and beautifully neat & clean. The breakfast was delicious too, with a range of excellent options. Daisy and Vincent could not have been more welcoming and hospitable and I would feel very lucky to stay at their BnB again.

We were surprised when we arrived that we were NOT in the stone chalet- that is the dining area. There are four buildings all attached and we were in the parsonage which had five small bedrooms. I guess I looked at the photo of the stone chalet, saw the option of paying extra for the balcony and thought that was what I would get- but I had a Juliet balcony shared with the room next to me! Everything was very clean, communication was great, breakfast options were very good as was the service. I think the best thing was the location- I had some interesting walks around the neighborhood, and the outdoor areas were lovely. This would be a very good place for a small reunion or get together. The stone chalet itself was very pleasant and would be an excellent site for a gathering.…

This place is a gem, probably the most impressive building on a road of very impressive buildings. Built in early 20th century and remodelled within the last decade, each roomm is unique. Property itself is worth seeing and seems ideally suited for groups, weddings, but also romantic getaways. The place also includes custom-made breakfast, with a very large number of choices. Overall, a VERY good value for the price, and a more unique experience compared to anon-feeling overpriced hotels or some other BnBs in this marvellous town.

Stone Chalet Inn is beautiful and charming exterior with plenty of area to enjoy a glass of wine and relax. The rooms and the decor were comfortable and gorgeously decorated. The breakfast was delicious and the inn keepers and staff were great and so helpful. I highly recommend staying here for all.
