In a world filled with excuses for bad service, unclean rooms, no food service, this Hilton does NOT need any excuses. It's clean, friendly, GREAT breakfast, smiles all around and helped me with an issue with Hotels.com. GREAT. Will stay again.
Reviews here drove us to select this property and it was ideal for our brief Ann Arbor stay. The room was quiet, clean, well maintained, and the staff was gracious and welcoming. The breakfast was generous, quick and better than most. Although our activities were at the north end of town Ann Arbor is a small place and it was easy to get back and forth to our hotel in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend.
We chose this location based on a recommendation from another family member, the fact that it was close to where we planned to visit and the great swimming pool. It is also close to Briarwood Mall. We ended up not using the pool, but it is great. Facility was clean and comfortable. There is no free breakfast, but we have not usually used those lately. We have found that a lot of hotels/motels who offer a free breakfast use that to make up for deficiencies in other areas. This facility did have free wi-fi, which is always a plus.
I don’t normally do reviews, but after this stay I had to! Our twin boys were diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. We have to travel to Mott Children’s in Ann Arbor for testing. The staff at this property is absolutely amazing! Thank you for making us feel at home. Special shout out to Will. He goes above and beyond for the guests. He went out of his way to make sure our twins were happy and always made them smile! I added a picture of the pancakes he made for them. I used to work in the hospitality industry for over a decade. Will is one of a kind, thank you for everything!!!!
Visited for a family celebration/Michigan football game. Hotel was clean, comfortable and close to bus shuttle to the game. We had a group of nine: six adults, two kids, one grandma. The whole staff was wonderful and welcoming but I’d especially like to recognize Willie and Heather: both went above and beyond to assist with various things that surfaced on our visit. They were patient and kind and we all appreciated them! We would 100% stay here again if our travels bring us to the area. Thanks to everyone here - but especially you, Heather and Willie!
I know Ann Arbor hotels are overpriced and not particularly amazing, which is a shame, but this hotel was just okay. Issues: the decor is so 70s, especially the red carpet. The water in the shower was way too soft. The beds were hard, and the highway noise was incessant. There’s nothing horribly wrong with this hotel, but the high reviews this place gets must be based on the hospitality of the staff and on the fact that, again, Ann Arbor has very few excellent hotels.
Have been staying here for years during 2-3 day visits. It is an excellent facility, well run by pleasant staff. It is a very convenient location. I recommend it for anyone who wants a no-nonsense, predictable, restful stay.
I stayed here on a recent business trip. The hotel was OK and below what I expected given the price I paid. The room was average, the gym small and I had issues with my key. Thankfully the noise from the highway wasn't bad (i use a white noise app) as I was on the opposite end of the highway side of the building but you could still hear highway noise. The staff was helpful which was appreciative and the location was excellent (outside of being near the highway).
The service was excellent and a perfect place for the family. We have 2 grandchildren 2,5,7 and they loved the breakfast and the pool was outstanding…….they want to go back asap.! Clean and everyone very helpful.
Had my dad's 90th birthday party and a family reunion. It was a great event thanks to the great staff at the hotel. In particular, Will (Assistant Manager), and Heather (staff member), and Kristine (who worked the dinner party) were fantastic. The bartender at the time of the dinner party, was also great, unfortunately, I don't remember her name. Great hotel, great staff, great experience.
