David the Manager was excellent to each of us for each of the days we lived there… we arrived 11-26-22 and departed 12-21-22. Dave was professional as were Tracy, Nate:, Toshiba and many of the crew. We feel home and love each of them for discussions and making out services wonderful while we managed with our medical challenges that directed from New England to Michigan State. Thank you sorry we took so long to say so! There was no problem or lack of assistance We wish you all a fun in 2023 and hope you visit us in So Maine John and Maureen O’Donnell 603-235-1575 PS To David: Rock on Arkansas!!! ☘️♥️✌️
We had another great stay at the Residence Inn! At the last minute, we had to extend our stay in Ann Arbor and the staff at this hotel went out of their way to make us feel at home. A huge shout- out to Annalee, Mike and Walter for making out 5+ night stay a pleasure. Seriously, the front desk staff at this hotel has won our loyalty to the Residence in Downtown over any other property in the area. Plus, the hotel rooms are large, clean and well appointed. And we you are here for an extended stay, having laundry machines available is a huge bonus. While the hotel is a few blocks further from campus, the proximity to Main Street is a big plus in our books. Keep up the great work Marriott on hiring such caring, professional staff! We will be back!
The location was great, close to downtown and Kerrytown shops and since I was there for a month, I appreciated the kitchen for cooking most of my meals. The highlight was the staff, particularly Tracey, Jo, Dave and Anna Lee, and actually several more but I don't have their names. They were very kind and welcoming and even had goodies for my over exuberant dog.
This was one of my favorite stays at a Marriott property and I’ve stayed at many! Staff were sooo friendly and the basic king studio was much nicer than expected. We had everything we needed. We were most impressed by the breakfast, honestly. We decided not to go out for breakfast because the hotel breakfast was decent. It’s prewrapped jimmy dean sandwiches, pancakes, yogurt, etc. but still quite nice. I will absolutely stay here next time I’m in A2. Especially for the price.
Was in town for the Nebraska game. Tracey and Annalee at the front desk were fabulous. I was upgraded to one of the panoramic rooms with a great view of the city. My favorite Marriott property for home games -- a short walk to the stadium and in really good condition.
We just had the perfect stay at the Residence Inn Downtown. From the cookies at checking to the Saturday morning game donuts, the little touches were very thoughtful. The location was perfect walking distance to restaurants and shops. We were even able to walk back from the football game. However what truly made the stay special was Tracy at the front desk, and how sweet she was to our dogs. She treated them every morning and afternoon with a huge smile, dog treat and love.
Residence Inn is NOT just another chain hotel. This place went above & beyond. Tracey was so charismatic & welcoming, she is a gem. I was dancing in the hotel lobby and she came over and I thought she was going to scold me. Instead she complimented my moves and made me feel so comfortable. Complimentary cookies & doughnuts, unexpectedly big rooms. Just a great time all around.
The staff here at this downtown Marriott in Ann Arbor is very capable and friendly. Always willing to go the extra mile and help guests. Tracey is a wonderful and capable front desk person, also Kevin and Walter are great. The whole staff is very good.
Tracy and her team were amazing. My friends and I stayed here as part of a hotel block for our friends wedding. It was a hectic football weekend, but Tracy helped all of us check in early so we had a place to change and get ready before the wedding on Sunday. So grateful to her and the great friendly staff at this Residence Inn. Rooms were clean and the location is great for walking or parking in the large lot/garage just a block away. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Had a great weekend visiting for a game day. The residence inn was the perfect location. Anna Lee and Tracy were very friendly and they provided hand warmers and donuts on game day. All the other staff was wonderful if I could only name them all.
