This hotel is just okay. The beds are uncomfortable (too soft) and although it is pretty it is also old feeling. There is a huge pool and hot tub but it feels like it is trying to be a 5-star and can't get there. The staff is either really nice or totally rude- no in between. My experience: they charged me a $265 fee post-stay after an accusation of smoking! I am a business owner, a yoga teacher, and a health nut! I absolutely do not smoke. I did contact management and was told there was nothing they could do. After I made several attempts to follow up, they offered a $100 credit.....so I am still out $165. Totally wrong. If you stay here make sure you have them view your room upon checkout. The Hyatt nearby is very nice and has full amenities- stay there instead!

We found that hotel very close to the university. The staff is extremely helpful, especially Maddie. Anything we needed or asked was made possible. I even forgot my headset and they were able to locate it in the room and I had someone sent it back to me. Amazing folks. Everything is clean in the hotel

I stay at the Kensington semi regularly for work and am constantly happy with my stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the staff are excellent and super friendly. The pool was closed during my stay this time, but accommodations were available at the sister hotel across the street. My only complaint is there is no room service. The restaurant in the hotel does have take out available thought. My steak was cooked perfectly and was amazing. The staff at the restaurant is also amazing and friendly. I would heartily recommend staying here.

Had a wonderful time at the Kensington hotel Executive King Suite! Living area was nice, with separate room for king size bed, 1.5 bath room and small little sink, microwave, and mini fridge cubby area. I upgraded to receive chocolate covered strawberries and sparking white wine which was excellent together. The strawberries were fresh, covered in chocolate and powdered sugar. One of the hotel staff named Duncan was kind enough to put are bubbly in the fridge to chill it before we arrived. Thanks to Duncan and the rest of the staff that evening for romantic evening we were looking for.

I would recommend this hotel for an event or an overnight stay. Our department's holiday party was held here and everything was great. Having worked 8 years in a conference hotel, I tend to be nit picky regarding service, hospitality, etc. The Kensington doesn't disappoint. Every member of the staff we encountered was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. I look forward to coming back.

This is hands down the best hotel around. The rooms are average rooms and the price was affordable! The reason I picked this hotel was because of the huge pool it has a hot tub and sauna! The pool was so warm it was like bath water. I had so much fun. We were there on a Monday so that probably explains why we had the pool to ourselves all afternoon. Another bonus is that it is open until 11pm! And the last hour is adults only. There is also a workout room but I didn't use it but it looked very nice.

We happened upon this boutique hotel in 2021 and so glad we did. Besides enjoying the fabulous pool and Re-Lish bar and restaurant, the real reason we keep coming back is the staff. They are attentive, responsive to needs and when we had a family emergency, they treated us like their family. I implore you to get to know Leanna, mgr at Re-Lish. She is epitome of customer care. Simply put….We won’t stay anywhere else.

Stayed for the night after a work party at their banquet room. Room was small, but efficient. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Desk, chair, king size bed. Bed was actually really comfortable. I'd say my one small gripe is that there is almost zero counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries at. Small bathroom. Room was older, but clean. Got the room for about $150 out the door at a group discount rate. I don't think I'd pay more than that for it though. Very quiet halls, but the walls are pretty thin. Overall it was a good experience. I'd stay again if needed.

The complimentary champagne was a nice touch. The bed was quite comfy and the in-room coffee wasn't horrible. Even in a standard room we had quite a lot of space. The checkout process was quick, which was wonderful considering we checked out on our way to work.
