My wife and I had a one night stay while visiting Death Valley on the way from Las Vegas to San Diego. The hotel is older but well maintained. There is also facilities for campers. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. There is little else available for miles but this hotel was OK.

Very happy we chose this place before DV, rooms were large and clean. Staff friendly and the locals unique! Karaoke was '!' Karaoke, lol. Handy little shop, we came on a Saturday so the steakhouse was open, breakfast was plentiful - just an overnight stop but everything under one roof :-)

We've been coming here since it opened. C'mon people, it's not the Ritz-Carlton, it's more like a Day's Inn with a small casino. You won't get 5 star service, you will get a small town feel hotel staffed by locals who live in Amargosa Valley, complete with local colorful characters. We find it pleasant, laid back and always a great...

You won't find anything to impress you except that is the last destination before Death Valley. Rooms are clean but noisy washroom fans and squeaky beds. Casino wanna be with a few slot machines and the decor makes you want to become a marathon man from running so far from it The restaurant's name is Nevada Steakhouse and offers no...

Reasonably priced, clean room, beds comfy,. Breakfasts good and they know how to cook a steak. Pool and hot tub were wonderful at night as everything cooled down. Casino small, OK except for the freaking cigar smokers. I kept all my gambling cash! Nice drive into Death Valley in the am- such an amazing place.

I stayed here recently because I knew the place from many years ago. Unfortunately it's exactly the same as it was all those years ago. The hotel is basically tired, and running on how good it used to be. There are no frills, and prices have been put up, over a hundred dollars a night, because there aren't many customers...

This surprising hotel is absolutely in the middle of nowhere. However, so is Death Valley National Park and this is a very comfortable and reasonable option. Within 25 miles of Furnace Creek, it is comfortable, reasonable and has a surprisingly good restaurant. In terms of value, it is certainly the best for the Death Valley area. There is a small...

This hotel survives only because it is the only place to stay for many miles. Bedroom was good but bed linen a disgrace with holes and tears in sheets and blankets. If you like passive smoking with your food the only restaurant will oblige. Being open plan to the casino, its users can waft their fumes over your burghers. Key...

This place was at one time very good. Now not so much. Views are still great as is the location to the entrance to Death Valley CA. Free wifi was very intermittent. Towels are thin and of poor quality. Linens on bed do not fit. The rooms need some upgrading and a thorough cleaning. Carpets are spotted. Shower needs heavy...

We had some difficulty finding a place between Death Valley and Las Vegas since it was Spring Break here, so I must admit rather reluctantly booked this really inexpensive hotel. We have travelled from Vancouver, driving ourselves along the West coast staying one night most places, and the services offered here are really good and efficient. A fantastic bed, lots...
