We stayed here for two nights last weekend. It's right on the water, with lovely views of Alton Bay and continuing out to Lake Winnipesaukee. Our room was comfortable, nice, and clean. The outdoor open wood pavilion is charming, and the small dock/pier area with chairs is very nice. My daughter loved the water trampoline. A few improve-ables - 1)...

We have stayed at this inn for three years in a row. My three kids loved the area and the outside TV and large fireplace is to die for. The down side, at times you have to share this common area with people who might want to party late into the night and you want to head to bed early....

I would have never known about this little gem if my close friend didn't tell me about it. She came for 3 nights with her daughter a week ago and couldn't say enough good things about it. I had to come. We paid $190 for a lakefront room with a deck. Room was very clean with a full size bed,...

An amazing place! Got out of the car from a 7 hour drive and the kids jumped directly in the lake and stayed for hours! We relaxed in the chairs on the dock. Couldn't be more relaxed for two nights. My husband dropped the kids off at a nearby summer camp and came back for a night by ourselves. It...

Lovely, very friendly staff,.clean comfortable rooms. The balcony is the bomb.We sat outside and watched the fog lift off the lake in the morning and then again,in the evening we watched the sunset and the boats returning to the harbors. Very reasonable rates. Best part of our stay on the lake. This place is a gem.

An impulsive mini vacation & what a delightful surprise. My waterfront room truly was waterfront- about 20ft from the Lake. My room was modest but sparkling clean; a TV that could be viewed anywhere in the room with a crisp picture & free Internet available. Continental breakfast & a Pavilion with a large grill & refrigerator available to all to...

Great location, awesome views of the lake, top notch service. Expect to be treated like family here. Very clean and updated rooms and amenities, kayaks, boats, paddle boards and very well cared for grounds. This was a father/daughter weekend, perfect place!

My family has vacationed at the Bay Side for many years and we love this place. The Rogers Family has been in the hospitality business for nearly sixty years and they know how to make sure their guest have a great stay. Alton Bay is a great location; the boat traffic is lighter here than in most areas and the...

Are group stays every year during 'bike week'. We are always treated above and beyond our expectations. The comfort they show 'us makes 'us look foward to the following year! Especially with the on premise lounge area it makes a whole new convenience, especially during 'rainy days.

I stayed here for only 2 nights this season, but have come and spent a week at a time in the past. I had not been since some major outdoor renovations had been done and was pleasantly surprised by the lovely outdoor roofed patio and full bar/kitchen and gorgeous fireplace area. Huge state of the art grills available and a...
