The place that we were put into was completely run down from dirty stained carpets to paint peeled off the inside doors from bedroom to bathroom. The master bedroom mattress was completely worn out we couldn't get a restful sleep. Every sound in the other unit next door could be heard not to mention the loose boards in the floors...

We booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit for our family. The unit was very clean, however, it was clear that this place needed serious updating. I was disappointed by the size of the rooms. The 2 twin bedroom is tiny, so are both bathrooms. I was looking forward to taking nice baths in the master bedroom bathroom, but that...

Although this resort needs a bit of an update, the staff and facilities are still great. There is a Recreation Director who plans different crafts and excursions every week so there are always options of stuff to do. The fitness room is adequate although I wish they had some dumbbells. There are some really nice walking trails around the property....

Cold Spring really has a home-away-from-home atmosphere, mainly due to the long-term, dedicated staff. Patty is our favorite! We've visited in Winter, Spring and Summer, and the location of the resort (Ashland is the geographic center of New Hampshire) allows you to access many attractions, shops and restaurants. In wintertime, several ski resorts are within an easy drive, and the...

This is a timeshare/ owners resort built over 30 years ago and is in need of updating. The units consist of: 1 and 2 bedroom condos, and townhouses. The two bedroom condos only have 1 bathroom. Our unit did have a fireplace - nice! Indoor pool & hot tub was a plus in Winter. It seemed the management was into...

We've spent another week at Cold Spring Resort. Always feels like coming home! This year's stay was in the unit we own: E3A, a 2 BR/1BA unit right across from the playground. The condo was up a steep flight of stairs, but we don't have any problems with that. The one bathroom could be accessed from the master bedroom or...

We decided to book XMAS weekend here because we were visiting our son who lives nearby. We own a timeshare at Pollard Brook in Lincoln, NH in summer but for this time of year and our purposes we felt it would be better to stay here. This is also a timeshare resort. We rented through a travel booking sight. We...

I've been heading to Cold Spring since I was a kid, and now I've started bringing my daughter up as well. There are only so many places where you can bring a group and all stay together, and this is one of them. We stay twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter. In both seasons,...

Thank you for choosing Cold Spring for your family getaway and making us a family tradition. Sounds like you've done it all - and in every season! As a frequent visitor, you've described our resort perfectly - "a place to spread out, relax, reconnect as a family and explore New Hampshire." Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

We are spending 1 week here. The rooms are dated, carpet needs cleaning and lacking a hair dryer. The place smell2of smoke, we went to a grocery store to purchase air freshener. Not dish cloths in the kitchen, nor any dishwasher soap....off to the store to purchase. The only thing we can't change is the queen bed, which we had...

So sorry to hear that our accommodations did not meet your expectations (a rarity as you can see from other reviews). Next time, please be sure to notify the desk of any shortcomings as we are often able to fix any overlooked issues or at least move you to a unit that suits your needs....

It was pretty quiet here when we visited the second week in September. We enjoyed our view off of the second floor screened in porch. The unit was clean and adequately furnished. We would have liked a daily towel exchange even though there was a washer and dryer in the unit. Bring a box of tissues, as there were none...

Glad to hear you took advantage of the hiking in the nearby White Mountains. How was the foliage? It's mid-October and there is still plenty of color left in the trees, making fall the best time of year to explore our mountains. Be sure to stop by the desk next time you're here for directions to Rattlesnake Mountain. Thanks for...
