The room was clean and comfortable, but the service here was terrible. Staff leering at women; spent more than 2 hours waiting for a room key; week old bread at breakfast; staff asleep when returning to hotel at night so not able to access room - some of the experiences during my 5 night stay. WiFi also very intermittent.

I stayed 4 nights 3 days in this hotel which even deserve the name of " hotel "....Don't expect WIFI in your room, it doesn't work. You a have a flat screen with one channel promoting Canal+ in loop....For your safety, you have a safe in your cupboard but mine was locked and nobody was able or didn't want to...

We booked a room here for 3 nights at the end of 2 and a half week trip starting in Ghana, going through Togo and ending up in Benin. We thought it would be nice to stay in a really nice hotel after 2 weeks of travelling around and were willing to pay the extra for a little luxury just...

We arrived here late at night needing somewhere to stay, we asked for the basic rooms but got told there were none left so had to pay more for a premier room. This was fine until the house keeper took us to our room which had not been cleaned (or someone was already in it) and she took us to...

To be honest the choice of this hotel was made following the internet pictures, if the place is aging and needs a real renovation, it has a small charm. The employees are friendly and smiling but service is strictly limited. TV offered blurries screens with a single channel available and the bathroom was not very clean. But the worst for...

Hotel du port is located in a good part of town. Rue de marina is one of the most important streets in Cotonou, the president's office is located on the same street, the port is located just next-door the hotel. The most important government offices and private offices are located around the street so staying in this hotel puts you...

In all my years of travelling (even to very remote places), I have never had the privilege of staying in such a God-forsaken place... The room, had an airconditioning unit that must have been built by some Soviet engineer: it was so loud, my son and I had to practically scream to make ourselves heard!! When we finally decide that...

May be not the best hotel in Cotonou, but I like the relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are very basic, airconditoning normally works, the clientele is international and usually easy to approach for some small talk after a hard day of work

This hotel is located in the city end, close to the sea. This bath room is not clean, and there is a small window in the upper part of a bathroom. This window is not closed tightly, so some moskitos can throw into the romm. So, if you stay at this hotel, you need a moskito net.
