Having spent a hideous few hours at Hotel Du Port, we came here for dinner (a few minutes walk away) and it could not have been more lovely! Chez Clarisse is a nice hotel/restaurant, situated on a side road in a very quite neighborhood, an exception in chaotic Cotonou. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are a bit old but ok and AC, generator and WiFi work properly. The whole place has a nice retro atmosphere, enhanced by the restaurant tables placed just beside the pool. Considering...

Made a weekend trip over to Cotonou from Lagos and had a great time at this bed and breakfast. The rooms are very clean and staff speaks decent English. Breakfast is poor as it's only a few pieces of bread and jam. Sometimes kids are making lots of noise at the pool, but it's convenient location encourages travelers to always...
