I found this place online by pure luck and it's one of the most amazing places I've stayed! Two of us stayed in Suite 7, the sea tower, which is spacious and absolutely the cutest place ever. We used the fire place at night and words could not describe how much we loved it. All the other suites are super...

This hotel was a bit above our accommodation budget as we are on a seven month trip. However it was well worth the extra cost as we stayed in the fabulous and quirky snail shell with fabulous views over Copacobana bay. Don't miss out on the hot tub treat and feeding the resident alpacas.

We stood 2 nights in the suite los Eucalyptos (Nr 1) and one extra night in the Sea Tower (Nr 7). Eukalyptus was a absolute Highlight in Bolivia! Huge windows, which show you the titikaka - lake, the place can host 5 guests. There is a kitchenette, fully equipped. And when it is cold you even have a chimney! I...

This place is amazing! Each building is different from the other and it feels as if you've been transported to Park Guell in Barcelona. Staff here are really friendly and helpful, you need to reconfirm the booking and let them know ahead of time if you can't check in by 2pm. This review is for suite #4, the Tortuga. It's...

Probably one of the nicest places in South America. Every bungalow is a bit different, but all are big, have an outside patio with hammocks, an inside wood fireplace and view over Lake Titicaca. They only take reservations over email or phone, so it's best to contact them a couple of weeks in advance. Staff was also very helpful

There are seven wonderfully designed creative suites. We had number one, which included a double bed, plus an upstairs with a double bed and a single. We were only two people, and it was US$49, which was excellent for what you get. It also included a small kitchen with a hotplate. We had a beautiful view of Lake Titicaca through...

Wonderful accommodation with fantastic views over lake Titicaca. We stayed in the seashell and loved it! Very cosy with the log fire which was made every morning when the room was cleaned. A lovely place to relax for a few days.

The Las Olas complex is quite an extraordinary place - a series of themed accommodations based around a sloping garden, with a wonderful view over the bay. Reminded me of the village in the famous (cult?) TV series from the 60s - The Prisoner, starring Patrick McLuhan. Not like anyplace yopu've ever been before, and a wonderful experience. Major negative...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dear tourist, hostel "Las Olas" is placed on a hill side over looking lake Titicaca. From any of the seven suites you have a marvellous view over the bay and the lake. You have spacious gardens with hammocks and deck chairs on the different terraces leading down the hill side. On our grounds you can use a fire place and we have several stone tables and benches to eat outside to enjoy the views. For those who love plants and flowers, you will find an enormous variety of predominantly local species. All suites have been individually designed, using as many natural and local materials as possible and respecting traditional ways of construction. They provide a maximum comfort and you will find many artistic details for the eye. From your living room area, from your bed and almost from any point of your room you have a perfect view of the lake through the huge window fronts. Each suite is provided with a small kitchen unit, private bath an inside hammock and a fireplace. There is also a little electric heater for your use We do a big effort to work very ecological. The cabins are built with a complete heat insulation of polystyrene inside the roof, as well as in the walls below the facade. We preheat the water with big solar panels and than feed it into the electric boiler to guarantee very hot water 24 hours a day. We recycle all our washing machine water with an automatic sprinkler to wet our extensive gardens, and we also collect any plastic or glass bottle left behind to be recycled. ... more   less
