We stayed here for the middle part of our honeymoon. The lodge was everything we expected it to be, great location on the river with daily views of elephants & buffalo. Our room was large and spacious with a great balcony and a complimentary bottle of Amarula as a congratulations present. A 8 min drive to the park for our...

We had reserved three “all inclusive” nights in this hotel which - organized in several buildings alongside the river Chobe - is big and quite crowded. However the buildings are well integrated with the nature around and nicely built and, more important, it is a perfect starting point for safaris both by boat to explore the river Chobe and by...

Campsites were booked through Discover Africa Travel agency. We were offered 1 site for 3 tents. The sites are minuscule and in no way would they be able to accommodate 3 families. The security guard is the camp site manager and has final word on everything to do with the camp. We approached reception at the lodge for a solution...

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Chobe Safari Lodge, would have stayed longer but they were fully booked. The staff were really helpful, they even organised a fridge for our room. No meals were included in our package so overall it was quite expensive. Wifi only in the lounge/office area. We did our river cruise and game drive thru...

We stayed a few nights camping here. Trying to stay on a budget in Botswana doesn't leave you many choices but this was an amazing one! The campsite is very clean, it feels very safe (there staff walks around hourly), equipped with lights, electricity and great bathroom/showers. The hotel staff treated us just like any other guest and we were...

This hotel is very luxurious with big, modern rooms, a good restaurant and bar and pool, and very good service. But it is a hotel, not the type of safari lodge that I expected in the wilds of Africa. But, it is very close to Chobe Game Reserve, and was a welcome change from the tents and tented cabins that...

After 5 days in a bush tent this was luxury. We stayed in the new Bush lodge next to the main lodge. Rooms are very modern and huge. The bush lodge is more contemporary and quiet. The food here is usually a la carte but you can also avail of the main lodge facilities and restaurant that does buffet. The...

The hotel is not luxurious but is fine for a few days safari. The safari trips are extremely interesting & often last longer than the scheduled 3 hours. The rooms were spacious & ours had no creepy crawlies that have always put me off of going on safari. The sofas in the lounge area looked as if they had seen...

We stopped over for a brief visit and a lunch on our way through to Vic Falls. We were very impressed both with the quality of the lunch - burgers, iced coffee, etc and the very reasonable prices. The setting looking over the river is also stunning. A great spot to stop and soak up the beautiful atmosphere of this...

Stayed for 3 nights, accommodation great, setting fantastic Waking up to Warthogs on the lawn monkeys on the verandah and mongoose in the hallway. The hotel organises many different river and safari tours . We hired a small boat with guide and had the most wonderful 3 hours where we saw just about everything from close range including 150 elephants crossing the...
