You can't argue that this place is bad value - it's reasonably cheap, clean, within walking distance of pub street, has a decent free breakfast and friendly staff. We also hardly ever saw other guests here apart from at breakfast, so it's quiet, and we slept well (mattresses are latex type, weird to get used to but very comfy). However...

I chose Ta Som Guesthouse from the reviews I had read and to be honest I wasn't sure that the place would live up to it's reputation. But it did. I liked the location very much as it was away from too much noise and convenient to drive to the temples, it's also close enough to walk to the night...

Paid $13 dollars a night for private double room, was very clean, had air con, water, good size, helpful staff and breakfast was good apart from bad coffee! Staff arranged everything we needed. Only slight downside was a bit of confusion, after the first night I asked to stay two extra nights because we were happy, it wasn't a problem...

Very cheap and convenient place to stay! Stayed here for four nights which cost $85 for the two of us. The staff were lovely and helpful and recommended what to do and booked everything for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Best nights sleep in ages. The bed was huge and extra cumfy. Five star looking this place isn't but five stars it's getting for the friendliness of the staff and the homely feeling of the place. Feels like am staying in someone's home. Breakfast is Included in a hidden little eatery place. Would highly recommend coming here if you need...

It was really homey and the staff are really friendly. My friends and I love drinking hot coffee late in the evening. Fortunately, there's still a staff in the receptionist area in case something is needed. He gave us mugs of hot water and even gave us the entire thermos on our 2nd night (we bought our own instant coffee...

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was ok. Not the best we've had across SE Asia. The room was big but had dirty walls, a stain on the sheet and moguls in the bathroom. Hot water for the shower did work. If here when hot note the rooms are stifling and the fan will do nothing for you...

Excellent guest house! Provided transportation to guest house from airport at midnight, very clean lodging, located 5 to 10 min walking distance from popular bar area, and assisted with booking of all tours and bus travel. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Siem Reap!
