We arrived here after a long travel from Chang Mai, Thailand. Our travel agent out of Bangkok botched things up again. We paid for A/C rooms...(they didn't inform the Inn) we paid for breakfasts (they didn't inform them) We booked a full day day tour of Angkor Wat next day (spent $1,200.00 US dollars for 8 of us!!!!) lunch was supposed...

It was a very good time spending here with the friends. I enjoyed a lot this beautiful and peacfully place. The staff is really kindly the rooms are nice and clean. The house is covered with wood everywhere its seems like a wood palace:) I really recommend to everyone!!

I don't get the bad reviews! My room was clean, staff was very helpful, the location was close to downtown but quiet at night. The internet was spotty (hence the 4/5 stars) but the bed was sooooooo comfortable! Would recommend!

Stayed for two nights as was only in Siem Reap for 3 days to see the temples. Sawasdee appears to be a family run business. Very friendly and quite helpful. Decent quiet location tho they are in the process of renovating the building. I stayed on the 1st floor in a room that had yet to be redone. It felt...

We came during low season it was very quiet, staff were friendly and helpful. Tuk tuk driver we had for the day at Angkor Wat was a very nice young man. Room was clean and had a lot of character. We stayed here for 4 nights, would recommend this quiet location.

what a great hotel! it just presents it's self as a little guest house but the foyer is stunning, i can onlt think is must have been some sort of french club at one time (huge hallways and landings, recessed ceilings in the bedrooms). very friendly staff. but, like most things in cambodia, us$ make life easier

While the staff are polite they are quite 'hands off' and do not go out of their way to help or give advice. Fine if you are happy to organize things yourself. The building is awesome french style and the rooms reasonable but expensive. At first I thought we had been booked into a dud far away from the city...

Such potential! Beautiful rooms (I've been staying in hostels for a month), super cool atmosphere, a peacock in with a giant iguana! And probably the cutest puppy ever. Like ever. But before I could even check in the manager was asking me what I want to do tomorrow and saying I have to take a tour. All of the staff...

Being a very well travelled person I have experienced many different hotels/hostels and encountered many different people. But the manager here is very unfriendly. We'd had a very long journey and we hadn't even checked in and he was arranging an overpriced tour to Angkor Wat for us. We said we were just going to organise it ourselves and could...

“Always bargain for an AC room. It has both an AC and a fan. Also try not to get the second floor as wifi doesnt work there. And a balcony would be a real bonus.”
