This is a lovely and elegant hotel; rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. We particularly enjoyed the evening buffet and performance held on the Apsara Terrace featuring Angkorian-inspired dances. It was nice to be able to sample so many local specialties and the made-to-order stir fry was incredible. It is outside, so it was warm and humid. Breakfast was also...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Great hotel and great experience. The GM Jean Pierre Leclerc clearly makes a point of meeting his guests personally and runs a tight shift here with attention to detail which is reflected in the rooms and all hotel areas. Its everything I expect from a hotel in this class and should add that the price was only a smidgen more...

Apart from the fact that this hotel is top quality it also has a story to tell. There is a staff member who's job it is to tell this story to the guests. The hotel is in an old colonial building and the newer parts have been built in the same style. The staff is top quality. Everything you could...

What is there to say about a place like this. It has charm, elegance written all over it. But it was the staff who also made it irresistible. It seems almost wrong to mention names, as everyone in the Elephant Bar and the restaurants and the pool side staff were truly special. But special thanks for their kindness and support...

Raffles is a grand hotel in the colonial tradition with attractive public areas and comfortable rooms with lots of character. The staff are generally helpful and try hard to take care of you. The main disappointment was the Cafe d'Ankgor restaurant. It was virtually empty most evenings and for a reason. The first night I sent my main course (A...

We spent three evenings at the charming Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor and really enjoyed it. The hotel is elegant, service was excellent and the piano player at the bar was fun. There is a fully restored old fashioned elevator with a sweet elevator operator. One evening we went to the Apsara dinner show at the hotel. It was an excellent...

wonderful service, gorgeous relaxing poolside & spa. Scheduled us with a great guide & car service; The temple ruins @ Angkor Wat & surrounding areas are phenomenal. Be selective on restaurants in the city; get some local recommendations. Take a visit to the silk farms & river tour of the Vietnamese neighbors

Spent 3 nights here at the start of our three week vacation to Cambodia and Vietnam. Friendly staff, room, British Colonial style. Breakfast catered for all tastes. We ate in The Elephant Bar for dinner. Fabulous cocktails, I ordered the Fish Amok, which is a typical Cambodian dish, absolutely delicious.

We called in here for cocktails. The menu is extensive, each entry telling a little story. The setting is coolly elegant and the cocktails delicious. Only criticism was that the noise level was extremely loud, the more so when one of the guests got up to join in with the piano player.

The Grand Hotel d'Angkor is the type of place for which you normally should not write a review. This is the perfect hotel.
