I personnally prefer smaller hotels but had the curiosity to visit what is considered the all time classic nearby Angkor Wat. Together with my family I enjoyed last night the Apsara show and wonderful buffet next to the beautiful swimming pool. Must admit that food was delicious, much better than I had expected. Impeccable service and wonderful show.

The Raffles champagne buffet breakfast was the perfect conclusion to a sunrise visit of Angkor Wat! Along with French champagne, the buffet included Western and Khmer items, very fresh fruits, made to order eggs and waffles. A great meal, and relaxing few hours enjoying the garden and pool view on the terrace.

A really lovely hotel centrally located in Siem Reap. Champagne brunch is overrated--champagne was free at breakfast and then when brunch started a few hours later, it was not included--strange. Wi-fi is very spotty, so don't expect to get lot of work done. The rooms are large and face either the pool or the very quiet gardens. The pool is...

Stayed for 2 nights, very nice rooms, lovely staff very helpful. Great breakfast (with champagne!), and we had a buffet lunch here too, which was fantastic. The pool is enormous, and lots of sun beds around it. Would definitely recommend this hotel

This is nearly a throwback to the grand travel experience of French colonial Cambodia. The staff certainly look the part in their Hercule Poirot era clothing. And the rooms, including the dodgy lighting and period furnishings, reinforce the impression. But while it is good, it is not the perfect experience. We had a room on the first floor at the...
