Location stinks.....Can't walk anywhere from there, no ATM nearby. Staff not helpful. Wouldn't change money even though there is no ATM. Wouldn't even sell me a stamp. Rooms are so dark I could barely read. Breakfast is OK, but nothing special. Noisy street traffic and constant traffic makes crossing the street dangerous. HAD TO GIVE THE A $20.00 CASH DEPOSIT...

The hotel is nice. My room was very nice, spacious and clean. The view was good and I liked having a small balcony. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was not bad but not close enough to town to walk but far enough out to be quiet. The staff was nice. The bar was good.

Stayed here as part of a tour group. Our group's rooms were in the "back" building; you walk from the Main Lobby through a garden & pool area. Our bed was hard, uncomfortable. There was no soap dish nor body lotion; fortunately for me I always bring some. Breakfast was adequate but there was always a long line of people...

The hotel was on the same Main Street as most large tour bus hotels in Siem Reap. There was constant guest turnover which is to be expected since the main reason for the destination is Angkor Wat. Most of our group of 20 were housed in the main building behind the pool, Not all rooms are the same. Those who...

I stayed at the Royal Empire for 2 nights as part of a tour. My room was large, modern, and clean. The room service was quite good and reasonable. I enjoyed my massage, but the spa room itself could use serious updating. The hotel surprised me for my birthday by decorating my bed with fresh flowers and a sweet note...

Had to go to Cambodia for our visa run from Thailand. Booked online with the Royal Empire Hotel and aside from a few small issues in relation to the language barrier it was a easily accomplished. The hotel organised a car and guide for us and they just couldn't have been more helpful. As our tours were very full days...

We were here 2 nights whilst touring Cambodia. It was of an acceptable standard but only just. It is aimed at Chinese tour buses and is not of an International Standard. Building standards are not high i.e location of wires in public areas etc. One of the bars was closed, although no signs stating that, it just looked unmanned. We...
