PETIT TEMPLE, HOTEL IN SIEM REAP Petit Temple Suite & Spa reveals the Temple concept of truly man-made masterpiece inspired and influenced by the great Kings of Khmer Empire who set a milestone of buildings for thousand years of reputation as stand-still today the temple of Angkor Wat. It provides a complete sense of hideaway for honeymooner, family retreat, or for any special occasion. It is heart and soul of the inner-beauty lady who lays down her famine feel/look of putting special attention from the Escape Hall, surrounded by moat filled with fishes, to welcome residents as a home away from home gesture. Each distinguished guest walks through a little bridge-way to the suite room; they shall find themselves on a cause-way to the great temple of Angkor where they shall be exploring its history.

The hotel is ok clean and the staff is nice ! Forgot the idea of chilling near the pool it is kind of impossible to sit and relax on the seat around the pool - no space to walk and if you have kids playing you will be splash for sure ! But we were there to explore and it was a great starting point ! Easy enough to reach town but actually away from the touristic side and enabling us to eat for 1£ per meal at local cafe down the street ! the breakfast is really basic but sufficient Air on wasn’t working properly but our exposition made the room quite cool regardless ! Having the bath in the room was certainly romantic - the shower room was nice decorated but certainly not practical ! Water was also fairly brown rather clear !

Place was rundown and needs some TLC. Staff are all young kids yelling ..screaming and chasing each other or sleeping or playing on phones. Was in the pool and girl was vacuuming blinds on second floor and a Male worker was up there and they were fooling around and shes screaming as hes pretending to push her off balcony..and pushing hard on banana tree and pushed it over into the pool..where I was standing less than 2 min before. The room was pool access, so no window just wooden shutters that did not close properly large crack people can see in room also door had large crack in the middle of it ..letting in mosquitos and was bit several times every night. The power went out at least 2 to 3 times a day. The floorboard in bathroom were all rotting and broken. Toilet seat was missing a bolt to keep it in place. The tuk tuk drivers waiting outside are horrendous mouthy, rude and over charge people not part of hotel but make it a bad experience. DONT USE THEM !!! get grab app or hotel to call. Charge 2 to 3 dollars to pub street grab Is under a dollar. Much better service from grab app. I checked out 3 days early as could not handle it anymore...much better places to stay.

I was booked in at Petit Temple Suite & Spa January 26 - 31 2020. When I arrived I was asked to pay for my five nights' stay up front. I paid $176.15 in cash unaware that the hotel had already taken payment SIX DAYS earlier on my MasterCard. They had my MasterCard details through Booking.com. Because I was travelling I did not check my MasterCard statement until I returned to the UK. Only then did I realise that I had PAID TWICE. Not only has the hotel failed to compensate me by refunding me one of my payments, it has failed to even acknowledge my complaint.

The way the hotel was done out like a temple was a lovely idea. The pool was an added bonus after the heat of the day, walking around the markets or temples. It was located about 5 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Pub Street and the food markets. Just over the other side of the bridge. Where there was some great cocktail bars and restaurants. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The only negative was the food. The first couple of days we had a buffet style breakfast. However the food wasn’t kept warm. So everything was cold. The last couple of days we were able to order our food. But the kitchen was pretty slow and still the food was cold!! We also ordered a breakfast box for an early morning tour. Which we never received. But putting all that aside it’s a lovely place to stay.

Stayed here for 6 nights, it’s a short walk from the busy pub street and that’s a plus as it’s nice and quiet, however if you want a evening out it’s only 5 mins away. The room was very clean and comfortable, the swimming pool is a very welcoming touch after you have been out for the day shopping or at the temples. Only thing that lets this place down is the food and restaurant service, they offer breakfast but don’t expect anything to be hot, even if it’s meant to be. Don’t get me wrong all the food I ate here tasted fine it’s just cold and very slow. This said there are hundreds of places to eat in Siem Reap so don’t let that put you off, I would stay here again.
