We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mysteres d'Angkor in early April. The two bedroomed suite was elegant and tastefully apportioned. The pool made for a welcome break after the heat of the temples and the gardens and landscaping were super. We are inspired for the design of the house we hope one day to build thousands of miles away in...

Nice gardens, decent rooms and horrible food. The hotel is far away from the center but there are a couple of good restaurants around where you can eat without taking a taxi. The staff is quite friendly but the restaurant is dark and completely unattractive and so are food & breakfast

Thanks for your review! By the way I totally disagree with your appreciation: you can say you didn’t like the food but you cannot say it’s “horrible food”. We have one of the best Cambodian food (and only Cambodian) in the city ... our cook is staying with us for 15 years and she prepare a very good traditional family...

It is covered with lots of greens and the French Cambodian theme of the place added to the laid back atmosphere of the Lodge. Hearing the chirping of the bird in the morning and the sound of crickets in the evening as well as the refreshing dip in the swimming pool during humid afternoons makes this place an oasis in...

The interest is the size (small structure) and the garden, with a pool. But I find it overpriced as the global shape is rather old, no intimity in rooms at least on ground floor. Breakfast is average and slow, dinner is less than average; but to go downtown is quite difficult in unpaved and unenlightened streets (don't forget headlamp..) Two...

Rather Old? : We are proud to offer an ancient and traditional setting with locally handmade wooden furnitures, far away from the modern hotels built with concrete furnitures. Breakfast seems to suit most of our guests, and dinner is wholly appreciated: We serve Khmer traditional and family cooking. We cannot accept “less than average”, you may only say you didn’t...

Gorgeous oasis, welcome respite after all days braving temples, tourists, and heat. It's a bit of a walk from town, but my husband and I learned to take the shortcut through the nearby wat and we so enjoyed to quiet and the beauty of the blue-tiled pool in the lush setting of palm trees and flowering bushes that it made...

We stayed for 5 nights, enjoyed breakfast on the balcony and swims in the pool. We were very happy the aircon worked as our temperatures were between 28 and 39. The styling was French Cambodian and replicated the online images. Floating curtains in the breeze and poolside cocktails gave good ambience. We hired the push bikes and tuk tuks were...

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel in 2015, first time for my husband. Philippe and his staff are very welcoming. We were met at the airport by our tuk tuk driver and as we had got our visas in advance using eVisa, then we were at the hotel within an hour of landing. The rooms...

Very shady and away from the hustle & bustle of town. Ambience is lovely and relaxed and the pool just gorgeous. Beds rock hard but nice! It is a little tired though and in need of a few minor repairs. Staff friendly enough but we always had to hunt for pool towels or a wait or for drinks. Free breakfast...

As some guests already mentioned, it is hard to find and the tuk-tuk driver that we got at the bus station tried 2 different places before calling the hotel to get the right directions. Be careful, you should have a map with the hotel location and their number with you ! For the rest, it is absolutely gorgeous: peaceful, beautiful,...

We have arrived by chance and we have felt on love with that place. Therefore we have decided to stay for 6 nights (finally we stayed 7). The to are spacious and fully equipped. The view on the tropical garden with the swimming in the middle is relaxing. The breakfast are good and generous. All you need to recharge between...

“The stairways are a bit steep, so if you have any mobility issues you might prefer a ground floor room. The property is a bit out of the way ... which makes it quieter and perhaps more authentic but also demands a tuk-tuk to go out in the evening (especially when returning).”
