Located in the most perfect area of Siem Reap, this French Colonial Hotel is simply beautiful!! It's not 5 star but it might as well be because everything about this hotel is classy, elegant and semi-luxurious. The staff are amazing, friendly but totally professional and very eager to make your stay a happy one. Receptionist Vichika has smiles all day long for you, her greetings are something to look forward to. The rooms are beautifully maintained, the red polished wood all over the hotel is just gorgeous. The house-keeping staff are exceptional and very accommodating and nothing is too much to ask of them. My room was the most basic standard room but it was just perfect by comparison to the most ridiculously priced hotel rooms in western countries. This hotel is perfect in every respect, I highly recommend it and will surely stay here every single time I visit Siem Reap.

I stayed at Steung Siem Reap for a total of 4 nights. The rooms were exceptional and clean. The bed was really comfortable, and having a bathtub was the cherry on the cake! The hotel itself is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and clubs. Every staff member I encountered, from the restaurant, to the receptionists at checking to the cleaning staff were delightful, eager to help and trustworthy! The cleaning staff even found my beloved silver earring I thought I had lost forever and returned it to me immediately while I was waiting in the lobby. They also arranged for me to go see the circus show, which was also amazing! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Siem Reap and looking for a luxurious, yet affordable stay!

The room that I stayed in is clean, air conditioned and has all the modern amenities one would come to expect. The staff are polite and helpful. Breakfast is good and adequate. The hotel is bright, clean and well maintained.
The only minor complaint that I have is that I have to keep asking the staff for soap and shampoo. I did not get replacements when my room was made up.
This hotel is value for money. I would stay with them next time I am in Siem Reap. But it does not get my full marks because of the minor irritation above.

Bad cleaning service. They don't make the rooms, they don't put toilet paper, they don't put shampoo or gel. Breakfast buffet very scarce and without variety. There are cockroaches in the room. The service is very bad, they do not change the towels and the ones they put are old

Nice, clean, spacious rooms, nice hotel in the center of Siem Riep. Very polite staff, so polite they're just glad you're here. Breakfast was very complete, both Asian and bread, fruit, yogurt with cerials and even life cooking for an egg dishes.

Our room was in Building 2 opposite the main hotel area. There are no facilities in this building all facilities being in the main hotel area. The pool is also located in the main hotel. The hotel is situated near the market & plenty of restaurants, close to Pub Street. The room was clean but could do with a little up dating especially the towels & mattress. We had a window which looked directly on to another building so now view. Breakfast was buffet style with an egg station. Breakfast does not really cater for Western tastes so the egg station and toaster were a godsend. There was also no tea or coffee service. Our opinion was that the hotel was OK but nothing special. can recommend the Greek restaurant next door for food and drinks.

This hotel is sub-par in so many ways. The air-conditioning in 2 out 3 of the rooms booked by our group didn't function. We had to move rooms two hours into our stay when it became apparent that the "maintenance" person was not going to fix the problem. This meant moving into a 100 degree F room and having to wait another two hours for it to cool down. And... the hot water didn't work. The toilet malfunctioned. The shower didn't drain properly. The lighting in the room was poor. The staff, while polite, were not competent. I'd suggest choosing a different hotel. There are many in Siem Reap that have to be better than this place.

Lovely hotel with beautiful French Colonial architecture in an excellent location - a short stroll to the SIem Reap river and around the corner from Pub Street. Our room was spacious with a balcony. The pool lovely and pristine. Dinner was delicious and good value for money although breakfast seemed less organised with many cloches empty at 8am and no bacon nor eggs available. We complained so it was better the next morning.

The hotel is situated near the market & plenty of restaurants, plus the famous Pub Street. The room was clean but could do with a little up dating especially the towels & mattress. There is also a small but pleasant pool area. Strangely our room had what look like two double beds bolted together, with a side table & dressing table to the right but against the wall with only a very small gap to the left, why not put the side table on the left? The staff were all friendly & helpful. We had breakfast only (3 mornings) which was pleasant enough albeit limited choice for the European palate.

It is a very well located hotel, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, the room is large, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are a bit fair for a hotel of this category, and the dinner is terrible, I imagine it is because being close to many restaurants, clients may choose to go there. On our first night we went to the hotel dining room so as not to look for another option, but they had almost nothing on the menu, so the rest of the nights we ate out.
