We stayed at this hotel as part of a tour package; we would not recommend this hotel for your stay in Siam Reap. We have stayed at far better 3 star hotels in Asia. This hotel is fine but it needs to be mentioned that is RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO A BUILDING SITE! I am amazed that previous reviewers have...

This is a good hotel, centrally located, with an excellent supermarket across the road. The rooms are large and they have a nice, peaceful swimming pool area with a good pool-side restaurant. We had an excellent foot massage a few doors away from the hotel at 9.30 p.m. not expensive, and much needed after a heavy day of sight-seeing .

This is a nice hotel in an excellent location - a ten minute walk from the popular Pub Street with its many restaurants and market nearby. The hotel has a beautiful garden in the spa beside the pool and the rooms are nice and clean -ours have a walkout to the balcony. Staff is friendly and honest. I left my...

This hotel was allocated by our travel company and we were happy with their choice. The entrance and rooms are abundant with dark wood, but the staff are brightly dressed to compensate. We had a front room but there is no problem with street noise at all. The bedroom was a good size, very clean, with a large very comfortable...

The Somadevi hotel is a rather upscale place for a reasonable rate. The rooms, pool, breakfast, and facilities are great. Location is within walking distance of almost all points of interest. Drinks and laundry are overpriced, can buy new clothes for the price they wanted to wash them, but there is a laundry around the corner. Would definetly stay here...

Staff very polite. Had emailed about the need for an extra bed. In a week, no response. Called. Confirmed arrival - bed not ready. When we got into the room, they brought quite stained mattress and dressed it up. As we are on cleaning, be prepared that there are no "wet floor" signs posted when they clean around the pool...

Apart from the small bath the room was excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was first class and I looked forward to breakfast which set you up for the day. On the first night we dined outside and were entertained by traditional Cambodian dancers - a must. The pool area was hard to leave and the service...

This was our 5th stay at the Somadevi. That's got to tell you something! This time we stayed for 12 nights! For the price, this hotel is the best in Siem Reap. (We've gone 'hotel shopping' over the years while we've stayed there and we just keep going back to the Somadevi. The rooms may not be the very best...

I was a group of nine mid 20-something year olds travelling through SE Asia in January. We really enjoyed our stay (three nights) at Somadevi basically because it was so nice. We had just stayed at a rather crud place in Thailand for NYE and Somadevi was paradise in comparison. The service was fantastic, the rooms were super comfy and...

This hotel is within walking distance to the old market, night market and pub street so in terms of location, it is excellent. Impressed with the standard of English from the staff. Staff were helpful with reservation of restaurants and confirmation of pick up. Room was spacious, hugh bathroom. However, ants could be seen in the room and the images...
