Average rooms, poor breakfast, completely unwelcoming atmosphere (except for two nice staff). No one seems to care about the place. Seems to filter down from the western owner.

Room was clean, hot refreshing shower with very good water pressure, staff was very friendly - they arranged a tuk-tuk to pick me up and bring me into town which only a few minutes away by tuk-tuk. Free internet service. And it was on $40USD per night. I would definately recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Golden Orange 25th-28th of July 2008, after having switched hotel's the previous night. We didn't choose the Golden Orange-our 'tuk-tuk' driver said the hotel we had asked him to take us to was 'closed' (Bopha Hotel) which was a blatant lie as during our stay we saw it open. Anyhow, the rooms were okay they could...

I stayed at the Golden Orange for four nights. The rooms were clean, the shower was hot and everything worked fine. I would have given it an above average rating, except that it was very noisy, and that ruined everything. The first night there was a party in the bar in front of the hotel (and outside my room) until...

This place is super-cheap ~$20 USD a night. It's a little out of "the main street" but easily accessible by motor tuk-tuk. Going to Siem Reap, it's better to carry USD than to convert to their local currency. The best place to hang out is the literally "cool" Blue Pumpkin cafe. Here, you get great juices, food, internet and even...

I can't say enough about the owner and staff of the Golden Orange. I stayed in town for 4 nights however owing to my having no reservations I only stayed for 2 nights and the Golden Orange. The owner of his own accord secured me comparable accomodations for the last 2 nights of my stay, something that has never happened...

We booked our stay at the Golden Orange through Expedia. On arrival at Siem Reap airport, we took a taxi but soon realised that the driver had no idea where he was going. We showed him our guide book and eventually he got us there, but it took some time. The hotel is away from the main nightlife area of...

We stayed there for 2 days. The price was nice ($20 including breakfast, $15 without). After the first morning we quickly switched to the no breakfast option. For breakfast they give you a coupon and you get to chose one item from the menu. It will not be enough and when we ordered second entees we had to pay the...

Our stay in Siem Reap went very well thanks to the relaxed but very competent staff at the Golden Orange Hotel. We made our reservation for the golden orange hotel over the internet. The hotel picked us up from the airport for free which was very good. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see a nice modern hotel with...
