Everybody at Tanei is very kind and helpfull. You just need to ask if you need anything. The location is good, you can walk to pub street and the markets. They have a small but nice pool, just what you need after you've seen the temples . Long story short, whenever I will go in Siem Reap, Tanei will be...

This review is very late. I found this property in a popular hotel website. When I visited Tanei Guesthouse website I was impressed with the facilities - clean rooms, nice outdoor pool, free breakfast, good location and budget-friendly rates. I booked a family room so do not have to stay in different rooms. We got a spacious room with windows,...

After reading other reviews i wasn't surprised when we arrived at Tanei and we were informed they were full . Even though we had booked 4 months ago. I guess they do this quite often . We were moved across the road to the Ancient Ankor hotel . (Same owner). A decent hotel with roof top bar and lounge ,plus...

The Room: Our group of 4 stayed in the "family suite" which was a queen bed and two twins. The room appeared to have been freshly renovated: it was large, clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable. Our two-night booking included a free massage for each guest, free daily breakfast (which included eggs, toast, meat, fruit, and juice!), wifi, welcome drinks, and...

Last year was the 1st time we stayed at this hotel. We had reserved the rooms months in advance, but upon our arrival, they informed us that they had overbooked and 2 people in our room that were supposed to have single rooms had to share. They were helpful for the rest of our stay, so we didn't make a...

The hotel is great. Located about 16 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from the Angkor Wat temple ticket office and a 5 minute walk from Pub Street. The room was great. We were upgraded to a luxury suite upon our arrival. It looked nice and clean. It wasn't necessarily luxury but at $40 a day it was a great...

Stayed here 5 nights. They fumbled with my booking the first day. But,put me in a very good hotel right across them. Rooms are quite clean. I did not have a safety deposit box in room 004B. Hot water for shower was a problem for two days during my stay. Choice of breakfast for vegetarians is limited. Some of the...

I actually never stayed in this guesthouse even tho I had a 5 night booking with them. They emailed me 2 days prior my arrival day to check whether I am still coming. I promptly replied that I am coming as planned for which they replied “that they were looking forward to seeing me”. However, upon my arrival I was...

This is no exaggeration! it was like a scene out of "Faulty Towers" including Manuel in the shape of a receptionist named Chhaiya! On arrival, they had to transfer us to another hotel nearby for one night due to double booking (a customary habit). The next morning, Chhaiya the receptionist does not recognize us and tries to sell us a...

We were surprised this guest house gets such good reviews. We found the room to be very spartan, which is okay, but the hotel felt cold, worn, unsafe, and overcrowded. We slept here one night and could barely sleep with the noise from outside (which was strange because our window only faced a hallway - not outside). We left the...
