Owners obviously have great style. Hotel is beautiful and service is excellent. This is a great find and offers great value. Stylish but understated. Stayed in room facing road and not towards pool courtyard but it was absolutely fine. Would return.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed five nights at Viroth’s and loved every minute. Some really great special touches like being picked up from the airport in a vintage Mercedes, and being offered a cool towelette whenever we got back to the hotel. Staff are highly professional, friendly and helpful. They are a true credit to the hotel. Food was amazing not least the breakfast, which includes all options (local, plus pastries, French toast, fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, cooked eggs, bacon etc). We also had dinner at the hotel one evening - also delicious, local and non-local dishes, all very fresh and flavoursome. We sometimes had a cocktail in the restaurant/open area. Really fresh and innovative recipes. Decor is 50’s and chill. Our rooms were very spacious with a temperance outside (we were on the ground floor). The whole hotel has an outside-in design - the entrance/restaurant area opens right into the pool. Lots of greenery. Large pool with comfortable loungers.

Truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Every part of the hotel is beautifully designed. Rooms are spacious with incredible bathrooms, and public areas are super comfy. Staff are amazing being both competent and friendly. The large pool at the centre of the hotel was a welcome relief from the heat and just like the rest of the hotel was very well appointed with plenty of shade and relaxing lounger. Can't wait to go back.

What a perfect stay - orotund truly hit all the marks. We liked so many things about our stay - pre-arrival communication, the fantastic and fun airport pick-up that had everyone else wondering who we were to be riding in a classic car, the comfortable and really spacious room, and the exceptional service. Every interaction with the team was positive and easy. We also had several meals there including a dinner that came with our package that was presented in such a perfect way. We used the pool daily, signed up for their trips to Angkor Wat (also great) and even enjoyed the spa. It is honestly hard to think of a more well-rounded experience that we have ever had at a hotel. (And breakfast was good too). It made our time in Cambodia so relaxing and easy. And the location was ideal for us - just far enough from the crazy of Pib Street but plenty close enough to walk everywhere. Bravo!

Having worked in hotel hospitality for several years, I can happily say this is the very best hotel I have ever stayed in. I genuinely believe that all hotels should send staff here to see the service provided and what they could and should aspire to. We were holidaying across Cambodia & Vietnam and had an all-too-short 4-night stay here at Viroths. The staff are the heart and soul of this wonderful hotel and whilst I am very sorry to say I cannot recall names now, they certainly will remember your name and will do anything they can for you. From check-in to check-out we felt thoroughly well looked after. It was my partner's birthday during our holiday and I arranged a vintage car pick up from the airport and they also kindly dropped us back in another vintage car so we got to arrive and leave in style. They also made a cake and sang Happy Birthday at breakfast, which was a really nice surprise for him. They can arrange all sorts of trips and will personalise to whatever you require. Rooms are spacious and cool, and ours had a lovely big balcony over the pool area. Beds are super comfy with plenty of space in the bathroom too. We were deeply impressed with housekeeping, who somehow knew when you'd left the room, even for 40 minutes at breakfast, and snuck in like little magic ninjas to make up the bed, towels etc. Breakfast is delicious and they will make to order from a menu of various items so you can select what you'd like. I can highly recommend the local noodle soups. We ate out in the evenings and I hope the hotel won't mind me also highly recommending the Chanrey Tree just across the river and Haven for two utterly delicious Cambodian restaurants. Again, they will happily assist with any restaurant bookings. The main part of town is only a 5-minute walk away with plenty of shops if you need anything close by. We were always personally welcomed back at any time of day with a cool towel and sometimes a drink. In the evenings they will douse you in a natural mosquito spray and although we did get bitten a couple of times, we didn't really notice any bugs at all. Thank you to all the team at Viroths - your hotel made our trip and we were super sad to leave. Although we only saw a very small part of it, Cambodia is an amazing country with amazing friendly people - we will definitely be back and won't consider staying anywhere else! Sonia & Simon

I have to start by saying this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. All the amenities are top quality and the rooms are great sizes with beautiful balconies (I stayed on floor 2 with pool view). However, the standout thing we took away from the stay were the incredible staff. They are always attentive, friendly, and available. They're Really helpful in booking tours and are always ready to go above and beyond. If you are thinking about staying here, I wouldn't hesitate to book, just do it, you will not regret it!

A great hotel with all the amenities: pool, spa, restaurant, tour bookings. Spacious and comfortable room with balcony and wonderful rainfall shower head. The staff is extremely professionsl, courteous and friendly! I booked the Angkor wat circuit tour with them and was extremely impressed with the English speaking tour guide and tuk tuk. When I came back from each temple, the tuk tuk driver provided a cold hand towel and cold bottle of water which was very refreshing on the hot and humid days. Will definitely book again and highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful property located close enough to the main tourist area and pub street to walk, but still in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Hands-down our favourite hotel stay ever. We stayed here for 5 nights, and the hospitality, warmth and attention to detail the staff here have beyond exceeded anything we could have ever asked for. The staff here are all so genuinely warm, helpful and friendly, and they truly go out of their way to make sure your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Special thanks to Sokha and team, as well as the F&B Manager (sorry I didn’t manage to get your name!) for going the extra mile in every single thing you do. You guys are stars. We already can’t wait to come back again!

This hotel is fantastic and I would definitely stay here again. The location is great - close to lots of great restaurants and bars, and the markets. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. Being offered a cold towel and refreshing drink every time you go back to the hotel is a nice touch. The hotel has a selection of vintage cars for airport transfers and we were able to try a Rolls Royce and a Mercedes which were both great experiences. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool is great and there were always staff on hand to help with drinks, food, towels etc. The breakfast included has a great selection. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Siem Reap.

Super nice hotel. I will definitely come back again to this hotel and recommend it to people. Location is very good, walking distant from nice restaurants on Siem Reap riverside, and also from Old Market (many options to eat). I also walked to Pub Street. Hotel is clean, I like the way they set the decorations. Staff's are super nice and friendly. They regularly check your situation and definitely makes you feels home away from home. I booked their private Tuktuk for 3 days to go around the temples. My family feel safe with them. Nice swimming pool. Food can be better than now. Also there is no elevator so people with handicapped will need assistance to take stairs.
