We booked this place because it was rated as the top choice in all of Norte Grande by Lonely Planet. The place is nice enough and is very fair priced, but there are equally good and cheaper places in Arica. With the high expectation set we were a bit disapointed. Beds are good, clean but a bit crammed. Wi-Fi is really...

The location and views are what make this hostal. But it is in serious need of some TLC. Many of the furnishing and fittings do not work properly such as faucet in the kitchen sink or the bed we had to prop up with books. Access can be patchy if a staff member not working, which is frequent. But still...

This hostel was very average but cleanish with helpful owner and staff. If you don't mind cold showers you will be fine. Great for the beach and the kitchen facilities where very good if self catering. However due to the late arrival of the bus from La Paz we would not have got in if it hadn't been for another...

Very quiet hostel in Arica. Great views of the ocean from the balcony and very close to the beach. Would imagine that it's livelier in summertime. Stayed in a double room with small bathroom. Very clean and has an apartment feel rather than hostel.

This is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views. Clean and tidy. Excellent kitchen we cooked every day. Hot water and free drinking water. You can watch the breaks from the balcony. My partner surfed el gringo, it's heavy and Shallow so Pick Your day wisely. Also head out early to beat the wind. There is a nice...

Comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. Room was average size and well maintained. The community kitchen was convenient and the ocean view from the common area's balcony was gorgeous. A 20 minute walk to el centro which was a nice waterfront stroll back from the restaurants after dinner, We stayed 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and Arica.

We booked in for 5 nights, thinking we would switch to another surf hostel, but after looking around this was the best value and location you can get for a hostel in Arica. We stayed for 11 nights and loved it. The first 5 nights we stayed in a private room on the first floor. The downfall was that the...
