We made the Kau Lodge our location for our tour to Torres de Paine and Bernardo O'Higgins. It was a short taxi right from the bus station. (If you were backpacking, it would be an easy walk.) We had reserved the bunk rooms. They were facing the sound and furnished with comfortable bed, good lighting and a good sized bath...

Good location on seafront, gorgeous view in common area and all bedrooms. Easy to walk to restaurants and the town. We booked a bunk-bed room, very nice and spacious. We like it very much. The lodge is nicely designed with recycled wood. Great service, staff is very helpful. They helped us with the excursion- what to do and made the...

Kau Lodge Puerto Natales Terrific place to stay to explore the region The highlights of Kau are it's magnificent water views from the bedrooms, the comfortable common area with reception, an outdoor clothing store and the Cafe with delicious real coffee, baked goods and grilled sandwiches which we also took to go during day trip to TDP. Staff was very...

This was one of two hotels we stayed at in Puerto Natales and we preferred this one (over the much more expensive Remota). The rooms here are cozy and appealing, with every amenity besides a TV. The location is great- a bit off the main drag, but that's because you have a seaside view. The kitchen and hotel bar are...

Totally surprised about the excellent location of Kau Patagonia Hotel in Puerto Natales. Every room has a view of the Ultima Esperanza Sound and Señoret Channel that receives the waters of almost all the surface waters of Torres del Paine National Park through the Serrano River. Puerto Natales It’s the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park to the northwest,...

Great location on the waterfront and this is a quaint Patagonia style lodge that really is in a beautiful spot. The rooms are all upstairs and they get HOT with little means to cool them. Heat from downstairs rises to keep the upper area very warm and sun coming through the windows made it worse. Windows only opened a little...

Cozy hotel. Nice location. Amazing nice and helpful people. Clean room. Nice view of the fiordos. A little lonely at night, because the people who offer the service leave at night. Only bad thing, there was no wifi in all the hotel. Only on the common room downstairs.

Kau is tastefully decorated, but we found our stay (post-Torres del Paine trek) a bit odd. The front desk attendants were uninterested in helping us; for example, when we arrived at breakfast at 8:30, there was little food left, even though the meal goes until 10. When we asked for more, the attendants were annoyed. Other details were off, too--the...

Kau was the perfect spot to serve our needs. We stayed for a few days upon arrival to organize our plans for trekking in Torres del Paine National Park. The rooms were very cozy and clean. Wifi was great and we hung out in the the coffee shop to do our trip planning. The breakfast was pretty standard, and they...
