Everything was just perfect, very comfortable, great restaurant, super friendly staff.
Very nice and complete breakfast and great options for dinner, very nicely prepared and presented dishes, there is no reason to go out to town if you are looking for a delicious meal, it’s...More
We stayed at Altiplanico twice in January on our way to El Calafete and on our return from Torres. By chance we were in the same room!
It is true the wifi is not great outside the reception and the Lounge areas - but the...More
This hotel has the worst wifi service than any other hotel I have ever stayed in EVER and I travel at least 120 nights per year. The girls at the front desk just give excuses and tell you to use the wifi in the lobby....More
We spent 4 nights in this hotel and it was the best hotel we stayed in Chile! The room was huge with a big window on the garden with view lake. The design is eco, natural and well included in the environment. Breakfast was rich...More

What we did was fly into Punta Arenas where we rented a car. Then we drove the 2+ hours to Puerto Natales and stayed at Altiplanco. Torres Del Pain is about a 30 min drive from there. Having our own car was more cost effective and we were able to tour the park at our own pace. The staff at Altiplanco were great with advice on where to go. They suggested that we go to the caves where there are fossils of mylodons and other cool things. They also arranged for horseback riding while we were there.
I hope this helps!
