Sebastian and Marisol are a wealth of local information and can find what or whom ever you are looking for in activities in Southern Patagonia. Their hostel is clean and friendly with a great breakfast and comfortable beds and common areas. Only 4 or 5 blocks from city center and close to a big super-market. It's always buzzing with interesting...

The staff here were very friendly and helpful, and gave us loads of useful information about our onwards trip to Torres del Paine. The dorm was small but comfortable, and the shared lounge area is a relaxed space to cook or hang out. The hostel was perfect for what we needed it for (early mornings for trips/buses) but if you're...

Thanks for your review! You're right, we're not a party hostel, although we have heaps of BBQ with ou guests in our backyard. :-) There are also plenty of pubs and discotheques around us - just in case you do wanna go party like rockstars! ;-) --Sebastian

I checked in after 5 days in a rain soaked tent and this was the absolute perfect place to recover. It is located just a few blocks from the bus stop so getting here was easy. The beds are warm and comfortable, the water is HOT, the showers are fantastic, and the staff was friendly and helpful in at least...

Thanks for your awesome review! That's what keeps us going! :-) ... ohh... don't forget the home-made yoghurt... ;-) Cheers, Sebastian.-

Although it's on the expensive side (as far as hostels go), it's not expensive without reason. Only a few blocks from the Bus-Sur bus station and less than a minute from a grocery store, it has great location. With only a few private rooms and one 6-person dorm, it's not too crowded. There is a simple breakfast included and the...

Lovely, clean & friendly hostel in a great location. Staff are very helpful & beds are very comfortable! Slightly restrictive hours on the bathrooms & kitchen were the only down side & it's not cheap but nowhere in Punta Arenas is. We really enjoyed our stay there & would recommend it

Pros: The dorms were really comfortable and you would not hear the noise. The bathroom was inside the dorm - awesome since I did not have to go outside. Breakfast was offered but I really did not get any. Sebastian and Marisol were ultra helpful - especially when I needed something. Very clean - essential!

About breakfast, sort of to clarify for future travelers: we serve breakfast from 07:00 - 10:30 a.m.-ish and for early birds (early tours or flight in the middle of the night) we set up breakfast as self-service before 07:00 a.m. ... not sure what happend to your breakfast, though. Maybe you partied like a rock star all night and got...

Our family of 5 stayed in the 6-bed dorm room at Hospedaje Magallanes during our recent trip to the Punta Arenas area. The room and adjoining bathroom were clean and the bunk beds were comfortable. What I appreciated most about our stay was the help from Marisol and her staff. They arranged activities, provided information about getting around town, and...

We stayed at Hospedaje Magallanes around Christmas, two days at the beginning and one day at the end of our Patagonia tour. As we hadn't really planned anything before going, we were super lucky to have picked that place, as Marisol and Sebastian told us everything we needed to know about getting around in Patagonia and basically planned our route...

We stayed here before and after our hikingtrip to Torres del Paine. We arrived in the middle of the night and that was no problem. Very friendly and welcoming staff, they offered us an emergency room, when they were actually fully booked! A bit more expensive than other similar hostels. Speaks english and german!

I used to work in Backpackers, so I can tell from official point of view that this hostel is very organized. Probably not everyday, but I had a hot egg plate in the breakfast, which was actually very rare service in back packers in Chile. If the bathroom in a dorm is occupied, you can also use another toilet which...
