This hostel is probably the only economical option in Punta Arenas. The owner, Eduardo will help you plan your trip around Puerto Natales / Torres del Paine if you're interested in trekking (which you probably are, as there is little reason to come to Punta Arenas otherwise). Eduardo knows a lot about the area, bus times, ways around things, how...

Nice place, cosy, warm, very nice people, a lot of travelers and hikers. Fresh made scrambled eggs for the breakfast. cosy place in the windy punta arenas before leaving for the hiking in Torres del Paine.

We found the hostal by accident and man we hit the jackpot! The owner of the hostel welcomed us and he might be the nicest person alive. Before anything he explained us about all the things that there are to do in the town and where we can get from there without even us deciding that we are gonna stay...

Eduardo (the guy who runs the hostel) makes this place. Definitely the best value in Punta Arenas, and probably all if chile (it was for us after traveling for 6 months). Camping is also very cheap. For a little bit more, Eduardo cooks you an incredible breakfast. Don't even bother goin to the super market... This is a way better...

It is a great place to stay, very cheap, good breakfast but he sold us some bus tickets to Torres del Paine saying it was cheaper but you can find them cheaper easily on Puerto Natales so dont buy them there.

We booked this hostel based on recommendations by friends. They stayed here several years ago, and told us it was not a conventional hostel, but that it was a cozy place. The owner, Eduardo, was super nice and friendly, but a bit reluctant to speak in English, which I don't mind, since Spanish is my mother tongue. He made the...

Rooms looked pretty but very cold, (can find other hostel with warm rooms in this region), no warm cotton quilt but a thin one plus some layers of heavy unconfertable blankets, in the room clearly hear people talking from downstairs, owner ignore people who doesn't know Spanish when sharing info in Spanish to other people who can speak Spanish, refused...

This hostel is the best value hostel we've found in Chile. Every bed is 6000pesos, 7000pesos if you opt for the breakfast and I heartily recommend you do. The rooms are clean and well maintained, there were plenty of plug sockets and the showers were fantastic. It may look a little down at heel at first glance and it can...

Pros: Cheap, friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast. Cons: Uncomfortable pillow and mattress, cramped, and noisy at night. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay for a night or two, it's decent enough. But personally, I would pay a little bit more to stay in a little bit nicer place; it's hard to get a good night's sleep...
