This hostel is the best value hostel we've found in Chile. Every bed is 6000pesos, 7000pesos if you opt for the breakfast and I heartily recommend you do. The rooms are clean and well maintained, there were plenty of plug sockets and the showers were fantastic. It may look a little down at heel at first glance and it can...

Pros: Cheap, friendly & helpful staff, good breakfast. Cons: Uncomfortable pillow and mattress, cramped, and noisy at night. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay for a night or two, it's decent enough. But personally, I would pay a little bit more to stay in a little bit nicer place; it's hard to get a good night's sleep...

Eduardo, the owner, of this unconventional backpacker hostel, is helpful and caring. We stayed for a few days in December 2010, as part of a 3 months South American trekking trip. The first few days we were in a co-ed bunk room downstairs. When a more private option became available he invited us to move upstairs and kept the room...

We paid 12,000 for a double room, which is less than half we have paid anywhere else in 3 months in Chile. We adjusted our expectations because of the price and were pleasantly suprised. Clean room with big cupboard, great wifi in rooms, a tv, and a kitchen. Hostel sleeps 18 + campers, capacity in kitchen is about 6 so...

Visit this hostel if you're in Punta Arenas and want to have a outstanding "value for money"-deal. The very friendly owner Eduardo, takes his time to explain you all the whereabouts regarding Punta Arenas. They have one shared dorm of 4 persons and private rooms. The rooms and the bathroom is clean, the interior is very cozy, the kitchen is...

Although a bit out of town it is an excellent place to stay. Very homely and clean rooms, warm, bathrooms with power showers and a very friendly host! He serves one of the best breakfasts in all of Chile. You won't go hungry and his omelettes are delicious. The price is very reasonable, making this best possible value for money!

Even if this hostel is not in the center of the city, it was excellent. The best breakfast I´ve ever had in a hostel, confortable rooms, clean and new bathrooms and a very reasonable price! Edouardo will provide you all the info you need for your travel.

Nice clean hostal with very modern showers and bathrooms. Well heated. 4 computer stations available with wifi also. Eduardo makes the experience. He is easy going, friendly, and very helpful as well as knowledgable in all things Punta Arenas. His spanish was understandable and he could make sense of my terrible español. I can't imagine finding a better value in...

We wanted to see whales in Punta Arenas and Eduardo gave us a great tip! He told us we could leave with a small boat to see whales and much cheaper then Whalesound, it was a great experience and came back after three days. You go to the same area as Whalesound so don't hesitate if you have the opportunity!

My partner and I stayed (camping in the garden as we're cycle touring, which worked out cheaper than the main hostel) earlier this year. Eduardo really 'makes' the experience, as he's extremely friendly and helpful, even while he's rushing about dealing with other guests, cleaning, sorting out the computers, etc. It's very impressive. It's not the swankiest place, and is...
