The building is old and under partial renovation. It offers basic room with adequate facilities for a short stay and the free in-room wi-fi is good enough at a room rate which is relatively reasonable in the locality around. The location is close to the town centre and a ride to the airport by cab is about US$17-20. The reception...

Very nice, old style hotel in the center of Punta Arenas. Very nice furniture and service. Only hotel in Chile where I found tea and coffee in the lounge for guests. Bedroom was warm and nice an cozy. But the smell in the bathroom was horrible. Bathroom was nice and clean but the bad odor was emerging from the sink...

Our stay here was a pleasant surpise! We had a serious car accident on the way to Puerto Natales (beware of the gusty winds!!!) and needed to stay two nights in Punta Arenas. The hotel was roomy, clean, and had a nice seating area in the lobby. Most importantly, the staff at the desk were exceptional. Both the lady and...

I stayed at this hotel for its low price and location 1.5 blocks away from the central Plaza Gamero. Inside it is dark and worn, but I got a good night’s sleep and the staff was helpful answering questions. Speaking Spanish helps and most guests were South American residents. Room #407 is very small: since I was traveling solo I...

Old hotel, smells old. We recently stayed for 2 nights (Jan 2015)We had 2 rooms and both were kind of humid. Th first night, in one of the rooms, the window was broken, the cold air was coming into the room and the heater wasn't enough for the room. We end up moving to another room after 40 minutes discussing...

Good location and we were given a nice spacious room after complaining about our first which was right next to reception and very noisy. Breakfast served in a small cellar room and basic continental style cold meats/cheese. Coffee awful

we recently stayed at the hotel before departing for puerto natales and Torres del Paine. The hotel is nothing special--worn as others have said, the internet seemed to rarely work and the staff wasnt particularly helpful. They werent rude but not friendly and helpful as we found from hotels in the region. That said, for a relatively inexpensive place to...

We had just returned from trekking in Patagonia so any place would have been amazing. But the staff wa very accommodating and friendly, the rooms were clean and they had coffee and internet and wifi. The carpet in the room was old, but the beds slept fine. I would say this place is about 3.5stars but the helpfulness and friendliness...

We were a group on 9, so we needed 4 rooms. Each one was very good and clean, with excellent bathrooms. The situation as stated was really good, very near from almost everything and most restaurants in town are just a couple of blocks away. It has free parking, which is really helpful. On the inside there is a medium...

We arrived at 11pm to a hotel that was neither welcoming or appealing. We had had a long journey and looked at the table in the lounge area where there was a kettle and cups so we asked if we could make a cup of tea but on closer examination there was no water in the kettle and all the...
