Good food in the surrounding neighborhood is not hard to come by, though those locations are usually masked as holes in the wall a few blocks away—and at cheap prices. That said, the availability of more traditional western cuisines—not to mention a nicer atmosphere—can prove trickier to track down. Enter the Hongrui Jinling. Boasting two large dining rooms, I prefer the downstairs. The breakfast buffets cater both to Chinese (soups, buns, congee) and Western (eggs, sausage, oatmeal, some bakery items) appetites. And, if dining for lunch or dinner, they offer salads, steaks, and french fries. Compared to neighboring fare it will seem pricey, but if spending USD, Euro, Pounds or another strong currency, you'll find your money goes far and equates with good value.

Compare to another Jinling hotel at same city, this one is very good but not excellent. Major reason is that this hotel services many government meeting. This may cause a higher price and a little bit of uncomfortable for normal guest.

went to Shanghai for 3 days then returned for a wedding. Got room 1405 this time. it's like coming back to a totally different hotel. Wish we had. Staff language problems even worse and service and food for breakfast not a good experience. Room carpet looks like somebody has opened a bottle of a bad red wine and splashed it around. Paula went to have a bath last night and bathroom flooded. No hot water in shower for last 2 mornings for a 7am shower, not really early. This room would make a good storeroom.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a family New Year. Booked by our local family. Hotel is good in all aspects except English spoken by staff. If all the documentation is in Chines and English I would expect staff to be at least familiar with that limited range of English. Staff very helpful and attentive, we just had to resort to sign language on many occasions. This is NOT a tourist hotel for overseas tourists so bearing that in mind I found the hotel to be good value and most comfortable.

The hotel is nice, in Hefei downtown. The room are very comfortable, a lot of commodities and a big bathroom. The breakfast (the continental part) is not enough when the hotel is completed; it. Is better find other areas. In the lift a found an incredible "gift", terrible, the worst thing never find before!

Nothing to complain about. Pretty decent hotel, comfortable beds, room service was great, and the reception had this big piano playing by itself, I loved it! The location was a bit far from downtown, but not bad.

It is a nice place in an otherwise fairly boring city. The hotel is comfy, rooms are very spacious and quiet. The aircon, being some national failure in China, works or it does not. And you don't know why. This is so common in PRC that a high-end hotel that has good aircon gets an extra star just for that... Otherwise - OK. Food - bit boring. The brekkie looks and tastes exactly as the dinner buffet. In fact the dishes were 100% identical. Oddly, the Chinese food was somehow made to taste blandly, a feat that is not common or in fact easy to achieve. The Western food was under par too - even more boring but the coffee was very good. Ice cream - chemical stuff, don't try :) Finally, I could not find any restaurants in the area (at least TA had no places to consider within 10 miles). So on the balance a good place for a couple of days' stay but not something to make you nostalgic about coming back.

This is a place worth the money, actually very reasonably priced. the suites are large, with excellent views. great options for executive suites. Prompt check in with no delays. English is not spoken by all the staff but there is always someone available at the front desk that can help and speaks English . The room are clean to a point, dust accumulation everywhere and was not removed during our 10 day stay. Service was prompt and we always received what we asked for and in many cases items were delivered, by the maids when they found out things we lacked were missing. minimal closet space, huge bathroom, oh yes one must try the electric toilet seat. Breakfast was a massive buffet, you can find almost anything you require or desire. beds are very comfortable, with excellent bedding. Over all a very good well managed hotel.

I stayed for 2 weeks on the 19th floor. The room was quite good. It was large with soft beds and large LCD TV. The room was clean and tidy though I think the air-con is not powerful enough in frenzy days. The location of the hotel was a bit far from the central area of Hefei. It was a bit difficult to find vacant taxis in peak hours. The buffet breakfast there was acceptable however the room service was quite poor. The dish was not hot enough. I tried the Chinese restaurant on the 2nd floor. It was terribly slow. Usually it takes you 2 hours for a dinner. The staff there was nice and helpful. Though sometime it may take a long time for them to serve you.
