This hotel is very comfortable and a good choice if you are a business visitor. Good value for money and well placed for walking to local mall and park. Food is OK. There are 3 restaurants. The ground floor offers Chinese buffet and is average. Best option is the sit down Chinese. There is also a Japanese restaurant with a great menu, unfortunately only half of which ever seems to be available. There is a bar which is dominated by a huge video screen showing endless x factor type shows and boy band concerts. It shuts at 11PM so don't expect any wild nights !. Decent gym and pool. Spa is very nice but expensive. Staff are good and helpful.
Well located near to shopping malls which is 10 mins walk. Check in and out was smooth without much issues and bed was comfortable. Wifi was intermittent, upon request they install separate wifi router in my room. Busy in the morning on my first day of my stay in this hotel till I have to share table with someone else. There was traffic jam during rush hours.
Check in on 2nd October, after 25 hours drive from Shanghai cause Golden festival and busy traffic everywhere! We suppose to stay in this hotel 6 days, but we left after 3. first of all: check-in moment, they ask credit card as deposit as all hotels does.... but probably the desk staff, does't know that as foreign in China i can't have credit card, so they ask to pay cash... wasn't enough the cash with me and we ask where is the nearest ATM for pick up money, but after kindly the staff said can be done after day! Cleaning room pretty under expectation, i know i'm not in a 5 star hotel, but i'm in a 4 star category, but the cleaning i believe it's important in any hotel brand category especially if under a big name like Sheraton! after day breakfast... the most shame situation, 10:10 a.m., hostess to the entrance, but none drop us where we suppose to seat... only around 10 guests in the restaurant having breakfast. after got seat, first thing they told us is: sorry but for your reservation room, the breakfast is on charge, ok we said! we order omelet and juice... 20 minute waited. the plastic napkin on the table were all dirty and we ask to change.. and we saw that most of the table has dirty napkin. quality of breakfast pretty below standard expectations. back to hotel after day, we ask to concierge where is located the ATM, his answer: just near the corner, 500 MT. ok.. we went there, but wasn't 500 mt... so we give up and come back to hotel. wifi in the room, no comment, my 4G in my phone was better and faster. a good note is about the quality of the bed, pretty comfortable and good in sleep. in room dining late menu: selection of some western food and local food and 5 dessert, but none dessert available, after my personal assistant make complain they said, ok we will send a dessert... got chocolate brownie and after 20 minute directly to toilette with stomach pain..... i don't need to add anything else after this.... for sure i will not be back and good luck to all…
Stayed at this hotel for 2 months during that time I travelled to Xian ,Qing Dao Huang shan and Shanghai and stayed in hotels in all.Fourpoints had excellent staff that made me feel welcome and catered for your every need. The food is exceptional and know this because I sampled food in hotels in all the other regions I visited. The facilities were excellent from the gym to the swimming pool which I used on many occasions. The staff were all friendly and made my stay comfortable from the general manager to the concierge which I must thank for helping me with travel to other regions and also local tourist attractions. The room was immaculate and the beds are something else. the location is excellent and close to amazing shopping malls which are modern and stock all the latest fashion etc and found I got good deals on clothes and presents being 10 minutes from the main centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the area…
Great hotel in all respects except for check in and out, not enough front desk staff at 8:00 am, only two check out agents, otherwise all 5 star, in terms of room, amenities, and service. Shower water pressure can be stronger.
Visited for 3 business nights and very happy as the bed was amazing, sleep well work well. The hotel staff were very helpful and excellent location of the hotel. Breakfast and room service top quality. Note to management: mornings are alway busy for check-out, add 2-3 more reception staff for few hours to speed this process. In all, I will return for my next trip. Cheers.
This is only category 1 hotel ? I think it's wrong. I think, at lest category 3. why just cat1? room is so comfortable and so many choice when breakfast. Also this hotel have swimming pool and fitness center. Also first time found boxing target in fitness center in cat1 hotel. Staff also nice ,kind , I just go there just first time, some staff already can remember my name.
First time to a Four points hotel and my first time to Hefei. Hotel was new, smooth check-in, very comfortable rooms, many tv channels and good wifi. Big variety of breakfast choices but mainly Asian dishes which I enjoyed. Location was also near to restaurants and convenience stores. Excellent business hotel with helpful concierge staff. However for an international chain hotel; why no bottle of lotion in the washroom? Recommended business hotel should you ever visit Hefei.
First time visiting this hotel in Hefei. Although not in the city centre it was in a convenient location for my customer visits. The check in staff gave service with a smile even though it was 11pm in the evening. The room was a very good standard and the breakfast there was a wide variety of choice. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Paul's Hotel Rating 1 - 5 1. Disaster will never stay again. 2. Poor, likely not to choose to stay again. 3. Average, nothing exceptional. 4. The Four Points is in a new district about a 50-minute drive from the airport and a 30-minute drive from the main train station. Most buildings in the area are still under construction, and I did not see any restaurants or retail within walking distance. I was not bothered by construction or other noise. The hotel looks very new. My 18th-floor room was clean and functional, with all of the amenities typical in the 3-4 star business category. The bedding was very comfortable. The bathroom layout includes both a tub and a shower, as well as a large window looking into the sleeping area, with a shade for privacy. Service was fine, but not exceptional. Staff members were reasonably friendly, but appeared to be going through the motions. Check-in and check-out were of average efficiency. I had a good Chinese meal at one of the in-house restaurants, and a somewhat lackluster Western breakfast, although to be fair the breakfast offerings are more oriented toward local fare, as most of the clientele appears to be Chinese, rather than foreign. The Four Points offers about what you'd expect of a business hotel in a provincial Chinese city, and delivers reasonable value for money.…
