Everything in the room was clean and I liked it. The toilet, bath, and shower in the bathroom are almost separate, which is easy to use. The shower had good hot water and temperature. The furniture is also clean, so you can use it with peace of mind. There are many types of breakfast, and the quality seems to be quite high. They cook noodles in the morning, so you can eat healthy meals. There are also many Japanese restaurants around the hotel, and the quality is quite high, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat. There is also a 7-Eleven nearby. The only downside is that the noise from the nearby park is loud until around 10pm, so you can't sleep. That's about it.

Pros: restaurants, bars, banks, convenient store near by good service clean room, big and comfy many English channels on TV VPN is not needed when using hotel WiFi

Parklane felt like an International hotel with its vast size and amenities. Rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed here 2 nights for a business trip and surrounding areas had plenty of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was sufficient with an array of foods to choose from. Overall a nice stay.

Stayed one night in May while on business in the area. Check n was quick and easy. Friendly staff. Room was slightly larger than average, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Great selection and REALLY good coffee. Folks from my company frequent this hotel often and this will likely continue.

This is a lovely hotel with good facilities, including a pool bar and restaurant. There is good free Wi-fi throughout and you can even get google mail. The buffet breakfast has a good ale Leviton of western as well as Asian food.

I have felt very welcome every time I have stayed at this hotel over the last 3 years, the entire staff has always been very warm and friendly to me, and I would recommend this hotel to any and all of colleagues. The guest service Manager Love Joy is very well versed in English, and is always very helpful. The front desk staff is always quick and attentive for checking in and out. Breakfast staff is very nice as well, the laundry service is awesome also.

Friendly staff and very helpful. Easy to work in the room as needed. Some shopping and gardens close by for activities in the evening. Many bars and restaurants close by but we had to use bing translator to order. Awesome I Dian restaurant close by. We also found a yummy Hunan restaurant in the area. Take a taxi to Shenzhen to check out Windows of the World if you have time.

There is shopping, a huge State-sponsored athletic center with tennis, basketball, etc., hiking, golf, a massive amount of bars, and lots of international food vendors around the hotel.
The Good: Clean room, comfortable bed with nice pillows (not like other hotels with massive pillows), fast internet, nice bathroom, good television, good AC, mini fridge, and high ceilings. Service is very good from the hotel employees top to bottom. Breakfast and other meals were of good quality. Staff was always willing to help with taxi service or advice on any number of things. My laundry was never lost or delivered tardy.
The So-So: Want a foot rub? Haul your carcass down the street to the Parklane massage center and get your sweat on in the process. It is muthaluvin' hot in China. Fancy a dip in the indoor pool? Swim caps are mandatory. What a goofy requirement. South side of the hotel faces a busy street where honking horns Don't. Stop. EVER. Big trucks are the worst offenders.
The Bad: Enjoy some smoke along with hotel meals. Really China, it is time to get with the 21st century and realize that a smoking section for dining is akin to having a peeing section of the pool. Ridiculous.

This is a beautiful and comfortable hotel in Chang'an. My room was well-sized and comfortable, as was the furniture in the room. The bed was pretty firm but overall, it was comfortable enough. The shower was separate from the tub and it was fabulous. The water pressure was so great that I didn't want to get out! The towels were large and really fluffy, especially for a hotel. I appreciated the shelf above the sink as I had room to put my toiletries on it. That was a nice touch.The desk was nicely sized with a good work surface. The A/C in the room worked VERY well! Service from the staff was good and the breakfast buffet offered a lot of choices. There was an amazing looking indoor pool (see my picture) but it didn't seem to be open when I was there. Nor was the spa that was in the hotel so I'm not sure what was going on there. The price was reasonable but we were there at the same time as the Canton Fair so we unfortunately paid more than we would have had we been there at another time.
I only have one complaint and one warning: The WiFi, while complimentary, was spotty. It did not work every place in the room. I had to keep my laptop on the desk in order to get any reception. Here's my warning: the lobby is beautiful. The floor of the lobby is VERY shiny and polished. There are two steps between the front door and the front desk which neither my colleague nor I saw as we walked in the door (right off a 15 hour flight from LA so we were sleep-deprived). I fell up the stairs with my luggage on top of me! I wasn't hurt but I was really surprised. Just be aware that the steps are there so you don't suffer my fate. LOL! Now that I know about the steps, I would totally stay here again when I'm next in town on business.

On my last trip to China I debated staying somewhere else. You cannot beat the location of this hotel. This is not my favorite hotel on the inside. The inside rooms need a refresher. This trip, my wall paper was fading and peeling from the walls. Check in was easy...it was 3AM. Breakfast was the usual. Nothing new...nothing changed. Just wish they would do some upgrading. P.S. This is a China mattress...get ready for a hard night's sleep.
