The room is spacious, probably also because the ceiling is a bit higher than the normal ones and with French windows with a marvelous view of Shenzhen city. The restaurants are fabulous. Jason in Bazaar introduced to us the ingredients and delicate cooking process. The breakfast at Bazaar exceeded my expectation of a hotel breakfast - egg benedict and hollandaise was beyond perfect. Silver and Ivan in Tapas also are very professional in the authentic Spanish dishes. Service in all areas is flawless. I cannot believe this hotel has only been open for only half a year!

Exceptional! The room was fantastic. Service was excellent. A wonderful hotel where lobby is on the 78th floor. The view from the room was something we looked forward to waking up to daily. Breakfast was great too. Staffs at breakfast were attentive as we made specific orders. The barista made us a cup of piccolo which we very much loved! Room was cleared daily with great detail too. Every time we walked close to the lifts or doors, they always reach out to assist us. Even helped us setting up our WeChat app.

We also had dinner at the bay by chef fei. I thought I knew Chinese food because how good can Chinese food be, right? I’ve known it all my life. Well, that dinner was perhaps the best Chinese meal I’ve had. The restaurant staffs were extremely attentive too. Chef did a wonderful job.

We had a fantastic time there. Thank you so much for the experience! Kudos to the team.

My husband came across Lucas Lee and Christian Delonc in 2017, staying at MOmac. The place was packed with Inter Milan football club so after a short wait, my husband was upgraded to the Presidential suite for ‘the trouble’. A wow moment he’s never forgotten.

He wrote annually to thank Christian & Lucas. So when he learned they had moved to Shenzhen and invited him to visit….

…This place is a Palace in the sky. Built by Chinese Gov and managed by MO: a modern masterpiece and has to be (perhaps) the most luxurious hotel in the world – no expense has been spared. No Dubai cheese – just contemporary elegance/luxury packaged perfectly.

We were treated like royalty with amazing Vincent packing out two days with activities for kids & parent piggies.

I’m a spa pig and this is most opulent bar none.

Our bath robes carried our names, kites & toys for boys and we were escorted across border both times to assist with grumpy officials not keen on tourists.

Christian is clearly a man on the move within MO, now running Southern China.

Chef’s table in Opus both nights and boys had cooking class complete with hats. Reto is Executive chef and also a hoot. We had two hilarious nights eating and drinking – 3 hours flew by…

Almost too perfect – I looked hard to find a blemish/scuff – but none!?

Won’t forget the views from our suite on 69thfloor/The club on 78.

A big thank you to Lucas and Vincent for their time. Was wonderful for my husband to hug Lucas again after 7 years.

Only time we’ve visited a city and not ventured outside. Why leave heaven if lucky to get two days in early afore day of reckoning 😊

Dropped by this MO during my Shenzhen visit to appreciate its design and great selection of restaurants and bars. This property upholds the brand's tradition to curate luxury experiences, but also shows the gut to explore new ideas. Was welcomed warmly by Wayne at concierge, who has made a great first impression combining personal warmth and knowledgeable introduction of the many outlets (which was what I came for ;)).

Had dinner at The Bay by Chef Fei and grabbed a drink at the MO Bar. The innovative interpretation of chaoshan dishes and the relief print concept built into cocktail menu both showed a good level of focus, which helps the final delivery of food and drinks to be quality-wise solid and have a story to tell. With the French brasserie, Spanish eatery, Japanese teppan among others undiscovered, I look forward to returning again in the near future.

Newly opened last year.
The hotel equipped Great amenities with Heartfelt service. U can feel the mandarin oriental vibe once u stepping in the front door. Warmth welcomed by all the staffs all the way from the concierge to the front desk to the restaurants. U can enjoy a glass of champagne at the lounge while waiting for the checkin service and the pretty lady will pass you the key sincerely. The mandarin staffs really promote the hotel to another level— best in town.
Special thanks to front desk Alex Dang and the lounge Rosa Tam for their professional hospitality.

This hotel is currently the tallest Mandarin Oriental in the world. Complete with a helicopter pad on the rooftop, Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen is simply the best hotel in town.

1. Room review
We stayed at the 72 floor, and our room was spacious. It had a telescope to admire the night sky and the city skyline, a massive room to unpack luggages and iron clothes, a shower overlooking Ping A Finance Center, and a king-sized bed. It was a marvellous experience.

2. Gym, Spa & Swimming Pool
I found the gym quite sublime personally. With a magnificent view of Futian District and a plethora of high-quality gym equipment, it truly was the ideal gym. The spa was great with an excellent lavender aroma, the swimming pool was quite large, there was a hot tub too! You can buy swim outfits at the pool also.

3. Location
The location was great and connected to the UpperHills shopping mall. The hotel is also only a walk away from Lianhuashan Park and you can book a picnic there with the hotel.

My friends mentioned that the Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen has recently opened and that the hotel is magnificent and worth visiting. So, I decided to spend this weekend there with my family. Upon arrival by taxi, the staff promptly greeted us and escorted us to the 78th floor for check-in, also assisting with our luggage. The grandeur of the space from the ground floor to the 78th floor was impressive. It was the first time we had a hotel room on such a high floor, and the view was spectacular!

A friend recommended a local grilled eel restaurant, but since we were unfamiliar with Shenzhen, we went down to the 78th floor to ask for assistance. Nicole Yang approached us with warm proactivity, inquiring, "How may I assist you?" She facilitated a reservation at the restaurant and summoned a taxi on our behalf. During the wait, we engaged in a delightful conversation with her. After dinner we planning will go to the MO bar, she suggest we should try the non-alcohol drink - Roselle mocktail.
Nicole's passion gave us a fantastic start to the night, and we are very grateful for her.

After dinner, we returned to the hotel and headed to the 79/F MO Bar for drinks. We received a warm welcome at the bar reception, and the staff arranged a high table for us. The environment was chilled out and relaxed with DJ music. Bartender Elsa Xu was very considerate; after making eye contact, she approached our table with a lovely smile. I described my favorite "Dirty Martini" to her, and she immediately made one for me, capturing the exact taste I enjoy. The Roselle mocktail was also delightful.

The hotel was new and the view was incredible. Staff are friendly and willing to extend support with an attentive manner. The location was nice as it’s well connected with a huge shopping mall which is accessible to many garment shops and F&B outlets. Take a walk in the Lotus Mountain Park nearby in Autumn/ Spring is awesome.

I enjoyed my first stay at Mandarin Oriental Shenzhen last month, the hotel is new and nicely established, the restaurant and lobby bar are closely linked together which is very convenient.
The room is spacious and well equipped with modern accessories, overlooking the city view of Futian district which is more than comforting.
I had the time to use both Bazaar and the Mandarin club during my stay, both dining outlets are fabolous in set up and well decorated. Bazaar has a wide selection of food offerings, whereas the Mandarin club is slightly limited, it would be nice to add more starters or maincourse to the menu, nevertheless the I really enjoyed the beef short ribs, well cooked and the texture was perfect.
The staffs are great, Natalie did all the arrangements for my stay which was very touching, Jason from concierge(if I recall correctly) was most helpful in offering directions for cafes that I particularly wanted to visit.
The only shortcoming is that my stay was short, otherwise I would have enjoyed it even more.
