The hotel staff were highly friendly, very helpful and efficient. The room was very well decorated, great amenities for a 5* hotel, very spacious. Although it needs some rennovation. The breakfast was very diverse, fresh ingredients, properly managed. The bread and pastry variety can be improved. The executive privilege features high value items, including access to executive lounge, 2-hours meeting room in executive lounge, and late checkout. All very useful.

I spent 9 days at Kempinski Hotel during my business trip. The hotel is perfect located, with everything you need for your daily needs. The extremely good service from "the ladies in red" also the very good hotel quality will bring me to choose Kempinski again for my next trip to Shenzhen. The hotel location is very nice, close to the bustling commercial circle. The transportation is also very convenient, and it is easy to go to various attractions. The rooms are big and clean, and the service staff is very good. Especially lady in Red snow is quiet helpful, I asked a bottle of water to take medicine, she is so lovely to give me a cup of warm water.What a great trip， I am looking forward to the next visit.

Just finished a disappointing stay at kempinski hotel shenzhen, I stayed at this hotel since May this year, with great experience and brought my family and friends back to enjoy few stays after, but my last visit really disappointing us.
The front desk service already upset me once we arrived, as a titanium member, they usually introduce benefits and information of the facilities we can enjoy at the time of checkin but this time, the lady just do her work without saying anything, just mentioned u got upgraded. I need to ask what type of room we got upgraded and also need to ask her for the time for breakfast. She didn’t mentioned the late checkout benefit also and we need to confirm with the front desk later at night.
Once we exit the elevator on our floor, we can smell a strong scent of pesticide in the corridor, after few hours, we still can smell the strong scent when we went out shopping, so we approach the front desk to check what happened, they response there is nothing happen and when they called the housekeeping, the housekeeping reply she cannot smell anything. We then request her to send someone to check, after a moment, the staff reply there is somebody spray something in their room and he confirmed the smell spread out,the solution is to change room to a lower floor! We didn’t want to waste time to move room to a lower floor after discussion so we just leave to shopping. We shown our disappointment to the manager at the time but she didn’t provide any solution for the issue.
When we got back, we still can smell the scent, which made me headache, we then go to the lounge to enjoy our cocktail, I saw the manager we approached entering with another staff, she saw us with no greetings, or at least saying something how they clear the bad smell, she just ‘escape’ to another corner, how can they didn’t do anything to clear the smell after we shown concern? The smell last till we check out! This made me feel bad that the staff didn’t care the customers feeling and didn’t think of anyway to solve the problem, and the manager’s problem solving skill is far below standard.
I really don’t recommend this hotel to others after this disappointing stay.

I stayed here for a business trip. I have always lived in Futian District, and most of them are Marriott hotels. It was my first time to stay at Kempinski, and I was so impressed. The lobby is very spectacular, and the service staff are also very polite and enthusiastic. The room was very clean and tidy. What impressed me most was Wendy, who was very helpful and made me feel warm here.

A hidden jem and like fine wine aged very well. The people are the heart and soul of the hotel, and at Kempinski Shenzhen, we were served by well experienced hospitality staff that know how to make you feel special and welcomed. Special mention to Peter, who ensured that our stay was perfect and Sally at the Executive Lounge for her very attentive service, making every morning breakfast delightful.
Will definitely be back and looking forward to more Kempinski experience in other countries and properties.

It’s an excellent place by location and by the overall structure. Food is top class. Buffet is so vast. I really love this place. And will definitely visit.
What made my stay so great is during the checkin, and how they treated me during my 4 day stay. And most importantly Ms. Hajar Toub. How she helped me with the list of sight seeing places, so well she helped me for local arrangements, translations, details for my trip back, everything. A million thanks.
I felt the people at concierge didn’t speak or understand English. But when Ms. Hajar appeared, everything got solved. And how much of time she took to help me out, I have no words to thank her. Really appreciate.

I have been so well welcomed. The trip started even before arriving as a received a mail from a woman named Hajar . She welcomed me in person , speaking French , English perfectly . So professional. it is convenient location and the surrounding area has more than enough restaurants to choose. variety of cuisine and shopping malls to spend time. the footbridges link up many shopping malls and easy to walk through. the hotel is in the excellent location service-wise, staff are very attentive and pleasant. breakfast is not bad and rooms are clean and spacious.
