While the staff at the hotel were very helpful, I couldn’t take in much of the city due to Covid-19 restrictions. Had to cancel the day at the aquarium, wasn’t allowed on the beach, and overall a real disappointment! I did have a lovely lunch at the Gaga Restaurant, and met some wonderful locals. Definitely worth a trip back, post Covid!!

The rooms of Crowne Plaza Zhuhai continue the IHG tradition to be exceptionally clean and tidy while maintaining a fairly warm atmosphere. However, I am amazed that Crowne Plaza Zhuhai offers much more than that! Its location is just the best in Zhuhai. It is right at the center of the vibrant city center. Just go down the hotel then we could find many fascinating and interesting local restaurants and stores; when going up back to the hotel, we could immediately enjoy a magical sense of calm and quietness. Such contrast is amazing! It is also close to the beautiful coastline of Zhuhai (15 minutes of walk and 3 minutes of taxi), so it is extremely convenient for people who want to have a recharging walk after dinner. However, the thing Crowne Plaza Zhuhai surprised me the most is its service. I once heard of a rumor saying that it would be extremely rare to encounter a hotel with a really Forbes five-star service in China except for the hotels in the four most developed cities. Therefore, I really did not have much expectation of the service I would receive from Crowne Plaza Zhuhai (I thought, as long as the receptionist did not scold me, I would be glad!). However, every person I met in the hotel very kindly gave me the warmest and the most passionate service I have ever received from a hotel: the bell person used the most patient and polite possible manner to guide guests to apply for the health code; the lady at the reception would stand up to greet me whenever I came out from the elevator and ran to open the door for me when the bell person was not there (and of course, with the warmest smile and welcoming/good-bye words). A special thank-you note to Yolanda. A beyond-professional lady who cannot be more friendly and sweet. I think no one can be described as warm when being compared with you, Yolanda! I believe your truly world-class service is the reason why many guests are astonished by Crowne Plaza Zhuhai as much as I was. No word to describe how much value you added to my trip, Yolanda! A few Crowne Plaza hotels in China that only offer ONE person breakfast and HH to Spire Elite members even you travel with family . No welcome amenity and the room was in poor standard and felt old. Elite members who want to travel with their families and don't want to be separated, please PLEASE choose another one.

typical very average prc hotel pretending to be posh , good for one night stopover of biz visit. staff with poor english (most of them)- which is usual formainland. not nuch around hotel, before was Irish pub at gf, but it close forever already. decent, but well overpriced breakfast pretty average chinese restorant and terrible western

Excellent hotel to stay with. There hospitality was superb. Front office or restaurant or house keeping staff each and every staff was friendly and helpful. They were speaking very good english. We had there breakfast buffet and it was very delicious. Huge range of dishes to choose from. Loved it. There location was very convenient.

My family had a short vacation in Zhuhai and we were highly pleased with our stay at Crowne Plaza Zhuhai City Centre. The Hotel is a bit far away from Gongbei Port but it is conveniently located close to most of tourist attractions in Zhuhai. There is a bus linked between the Zhuhai Port of Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau Bridge and the front gate of the Hotel. The bus ride time is about 25 minutes. The taxi ride time between the Zhuhai Ferry Terminal and the Hotel is about 8 minutes. Staying in this Hotel is a better choice than staying at those hotels located close to Gongbei Port if the hotel guests do not need to go to Macau from Zhuhai. This Hotel is a former Holiday Inn Hotel but it was undergone major renovation two years ago. The rooms are spacious with modern décor. We stayed at a Special View Room at the high floor zone which has full ceiling to floor window on one side commanding a panorama view of the city. The room was clean and well arranged with plenty of seating and space. The Club Lounge served a good selection of canapés, dim sum and drinks in the early evening. The Club lounge is bright and airy providing a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. It also has great view. All the staff working at the Hotel are friendly and welcoming. These were particularly so at the Front Desk. I would like to express my gratitude and compliment to Yoyo Liu working at the Front Desk and Jason Li and Lynn Lin working at the Concierge for their professional and attentive services. Without their assistances our stay at Zhuhai this time would not be so pleasant and perfect. We highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Zhuhai to anybody travelling to Zhuhai. Central location, very friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable and clean rooms. I could not be happier with my choice as I had to travel to a near by location for work and the staff was extremely helpful in getting me a taxi to the location. One would think this not to be a problem however it is China and I fluently speak English and Spanish but just a few words in Mandarin.

For business trip, this is my 1st stay at this hotel. As a Spire member, I could say their service is really outstanding. Staff from front desk to restaurant are all polite and patient. I remembered some of their names, including Terry Feng and Alfred Cao. Thank you again. Some suggestion though, first, the chair used in the room is not appropriate to match the desk, not comfortable. The chair should be with adjustable height function. Another is about pillow, suggest to prepare additional "firm" one. The pillow in the bed is just too soft.
