I stayed in Zhongtian Century Hotel Wuhan In September 2014 along with my wife for four nights. The room was good and cleaned well, but only on the date of arrival. On subsequent days, the room cleaning staff would finish off the work in 5 minutes flat, because they won't use any vacuum cleaning for the carpets and would do only very light job in the toilet. The room telephone was dysfunctional from day1 and continued to be so all four days. We could not complaint as no one in the hotel understood English. The breakfast spread was so very local that I had to take 3 to 4 rounds of the spread to decide if I could partake anything at all. As for internet connection, google does not work there. I guess many of my problems arose because of communication gap. If you are bereft of any knowledge of Chinese language, better avoid this property.

Ordinary hotel for China. Staff had enough English for me to get by. Room was large and clean, quiet at night but had the hardest bed I have ever slept on. I didn't try the hotel food because there are any number of excellent restaurants a short walk or taxi ride away. A note about Wuhan taxi drivers -- easily the worst I have experienced in several trips to China.

I agree with the other reviewers comments, the Zhong Tian Century is mostly Chinese and the management isn't great, but in this section of Wuhan it can't be beat. It is walkable to several universities and is reasonably clean and functional for Wuhan. The breakfast buffet was great. I would stay there again. Plus the walk around the lake is great for the inevitable sleepless nights in China...

This hotel, while a little dated, is clean and friendly (albeit not very much English as others noted). The breakfast is quite good (Chinese style) and there is a pleasant lake to the south and another larger one to the north west if you like to get up and run/walk in the mornings.

Stayed there one night. Reception staff does not speak English. We asked for Suite rooms for our group all on same floor. Was not possible. Everything takes long disucssions. Not flexible at all. Room we got was very outdated, bed needs be replaced. Air condition makes loud noises and water starts dropping. Hard to get dinner. No lobby bar. Everything is in Chinese. No wireless. Relatively expensive (price level of a Ramada in town) for what it offers. Suggest not to go there unless you can communicate in mandarin and are willing to accept some drawbacks as a business traveller.

This hotel is pleasant to stay and a short walk to local supermarket and local on-street shopping stalls . Its main drawback for western people is the total lack of English information. There is the major signage with Englsih, but few staff have much communication in English. Having said this, if you have some basic chinese words, the staff are very gracious in assisting with your requirements. The lake & gardens at the back of the hotel is quite calming. A good hearty chinese buffet breakfast is on offer. So my advice is to get as much info. printed from the web in terms of where you want to go, and have it printed in chinese as well a some basic word cards before you arrive . This will make your experience into deep china a welcome one.
