5 stars is an absolute joke for this place. Disgusting room conditions - filthy and full of flies. Rude and unhelpful staff - stood and watched as we got ripped off by a taxi outside the front door, unwilling to help with directions in the morning. Clientele the place attracts is terrible.Fridge in room was locked which is ridiculous and stupid why would you put a fridge in the room when your guest cannot use it. All hotels we been to even the 2 star ones does not lock the fridge and the hotel being a 5 star does this what a joke.we complained to front desk about the noises that the other Chinese guests were making both in their rooms and outside our room and not much was done by the front desk and the noises continued while we try to sleep so we tried again and not much was done either.Front desk even assume that we were on a business trip when she issued us with the receipt. We had a terrible experience in this hotel and it is worse then the 3 star hotel we stayed in before.Better to spend the money on a 3 star hotel then waste it on this hotel.

I cannot comment on the location as I was there for business. Overall the hotel was very good, the condition was OK. The room was big and the carpets quite clean. The bed and linen were OK and the A/C worked well. There was a slight smell from the drain which came and went. HBO and CNN were available on the TV as well as free internet. The buffet breakfast was OK, cereals, toast, bacon and egg, noodles, fruit and good coffee.

I liked this hotel : rooms are cleaned and laundry/room service is good. The breakfast has a wide range of choice and the staff is very good. The bathroom and the room are very spacious. However, the sound insulation is bad and there is no flap so we cannot sleep long time in the morning.

I think I am the 3rd person to review this hotel, and it is probably because this hotel is only about 1 year old, and also not too many foreigners stay here. We flew into Wuhan from Beijing, and this hotel is about 45-60 min away from Tianhe airport. This hotel is located on the outskirts of Wuhan in the Qingshan district. So first off, if you are here for specific reasons in this area, then I would recommend it. If not, then you can find many other hotels closer to city center. We checked in around noon. There isnt too many ok restaurants nearby (walking distance), except this "grandmom's house" about 100 meters to the right as you walk out of the hotel. This restaurant serves local Wuhan food and its pretty good. So if you dont want to drive, I would recommend this place. Hotel has a parking structure in the back. It is free but you have to get a ticket first, then have the ticket validated by front desk when you leave. As I said, this hotel is very new, so everything generally looks good. Room was not very large, but not too small, decent size. Rooms are clean, as expected in a new hotel. Breakfast buffett was decent, not great but not bad. There is a spa/massage on 3rd floor. If you stay there, be sure to tell them because hotel guest receives a discount. I had the Chinese massage which was pretty good at just RMB108 for 60 minutes. There is no KTV here. This hotel is about 20+ minutes from Hankou, where the Hankou walking street is and shopping plaza with a Mc Donald's. This hotel is very close to "Happy Valley" amusement park, so if you go to this amusement park, then this hotel is good for you. All in all, this hotel is new and value is good, I would recommend it if you are staying in this location for a specific reason. If not, perhaps you want to look elsewhere. For me, I would probably want to try other hotels closer to city center next time.
