The hostel is well located, in a beautiful street full of small shops, restaurants and snacks, in front of the river. It's 10 minutes walking from the subway station and 15 minutes walking from the Humble Administrator Garden. The staff is nice and helpful. Unfortunatelly the room we stayed was very bad in lots of ways. It seems they put...

Historic Pingjiang "road" is not really a road (no cars) - there is a narrow canal prettilly overhung with trees, flanked by little restaurants, small touristy shops and street food. Only for pedestrians and scooters Pleasant reception area and the two adjacent buildings are dotted with antiques. We stayed in a twin room and it was absolutely fine. The rates...

I loved this little hostel in Suzhou! I stayed here for 3 nights in a 6 bed dorm. The decor inside was very antique style but so cool and the location was on the cutest little cobble street with a stream outside and lovely lanterns. The location was great for walking along the street and trying some cool street food...

We stayed in a twin private and enjoyed our stay. It was clean comfortable and modern. The food was ok and there were a lot of shops and restaurants on the pedestrian street close by to enjoy. The gardens were not too far on food, or you could go to the main road and catch a taxi.

When we arrived at 3:00pm, the staff had already given away our room. They claimed that we told them we were arriving at 1:00pm. The booking.com policy for this hotel states they can only give away the room after 6:00pm. Instead of apologizing and making up for the mistake, the staff tried to convince us that the bed in the...

Pros: Right on Pingjiang Road, which is a famous and beautiful old street with a river, lots of great shops and no cars, very authentic looking. We stayed in one of their private rooms. Cons: Mold on the roof (a lot of it) Dingy, tiny room with about 3 small lights, felt like we were camping with torches. No hot...

Cleanliness is ok for hostel in China, though the hot water has limited time and water is chilly in cold weather. Staff is helpful in giving information. Near to bus station and metro, about 30min walk to Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. Easily find food and drinks as it is located in the famous Pingjiang Road. Nice setting in...

First star is given to the fun and friendly staff. The second star goes to the great location of the hostel. The third star is for the public living room. The hostel is not bad in general but still have room for improvements. We stayed at girls dormitory for six this time. The room feels gloomy probably because there was...

I recently spent two nights at the hostel. Yes, location is amazing - a 10 min walk from Xiangmen subway station (line 1). Even in a private single room, price was affordable and my stay was pretty comfortable. Near the main touristic attractions and staff speak English. They also serve food and drinks. Downside - WiFi in the room was...

“It's worth noting that getting a taxi to the train station from this place was particularly challenging! For one, taxis can't drive down the bulk of Pingjiang Road so the staff refused to call one for us. They told us there would be plenty on the main road (Ganjiang East), and while at midday there were many, many cabs they were all full. It took over 20 minutes to get one that was empty and even then we had to fight off others who tried to snatch it. We would advise possibly walking to a nearby hotel on the main road and having them call a cab for you.”
