I've stayed here a handful of times when I visit Dalian for business. This is by far the best hotel in the area. Pros: -Location, about 15 minutes from the airport, and in the heart of downtown. Surrounding area is safe and plenty of restaurants, KTV's, parks, etc in the area -Service, top notch. Staff goes out of their way...

I appreciated the volumes of this contemporaneous architecture with round walls in the bedrooms and various ceiling levels in the lobby. I plaid 3 D golf et used the big pool. Breakfast is just fantastic with Japanese cuisine and western food. Location allows to entertain in the surroundings. My single criticism is that the room temperature was too high.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Their service was great especially at front desk and concierge. Hotel location was very good, close to many interesting restaurant and stores. Room was clean and big. They upgraded us to the Business floor. We went to the Sky Lounge for a Happy Hour and there was not many selections and they...

The hotel is great. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Sometimes there are some glitches with the wifi, but hey just call the reception and they will come with a router for you to use. The breakfast is not their strongest point, since it gets too busy and they cannot handle the influx, but otherwise is a good one.

Though not very deluxe hotel, it is quite and more importantly, clean which is not often seen in hotel in China. Being a Nikko hotel, there are more Japanese travelers in the hotel, so there are some Japanese style foods in the breakfast. In the usual days, it is quite too in the breakfast so I do enjoy that though...

A night out with the significant other is always best spent in unexpected bliss. I have stayed with Nikko time and time again. I and the Mrs. don't normally stay in Dalian over night but for vacations that begin with an early morning flight, this is best. The way to really make the most out of your time in Dalian...

I opted for the Nikko because it's a Japanese chain and I had hoped the service would be better than the usual poor service by Chinese operated hotels. The room was fantastic, and so was the view, but the overall service was horrible. The staff was not overly unfriendly, they were just incompetent. I called for rooms service and was...

The Nikko is ideally located near the exhibition center and within one mile of the train station. It has uniques rooms in that the hotel is a cylinder -- thus the exterior room walls are curved. The room was tastefully done with a flat screen TV and several English cable TV channels (including HBO). The Buffet breakfast offered fare for...

A decent experience. No hick-ups, nothing extraordinary either. Everything worked from check-in to check-out; clean room, nice bed, bonus point for the Japanese style toilet seat with too many options on how to flush the toilet or your backside for that matter. On the negative side it has to be mentioned that internet service is not great.

Dont mistakenly book the apartment rooms vs hotel rooms, they offer long term stays on other side of hotel and it's not good, wi if is not good, get room with view and higher floors, caters to Japanese business clients. 5th floor is spa and "services" so avoid that floor if not wanting those "services". Out of the way location,...
