Overall we enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Somerset Riverview, Chengdu.
Check in was a little difficult, as all our bookings appeared to show we only has 1 breakfast provided per room, even though there were 2 persons listed on the booking.

Currently there are free shuttle bus service on Saturdays and Sundays (twice each day, morning and afternoon) to popular tourist sites Jin Li and Kuanzhai Alley. You just need to make a booking in advance at the front desk. Taxis are indeed plentiful and cheap, so that is also definitely a good option.
