Stayed in this hotel as part of a Wendy Wu tour.It was not as good as our previous hotels, which was a pity as we were here for three nights. One complaint was the bathroom which needed refurbishment,eg,mould in the corners of the shower.Beds were the most comfortable we had slept in,and had no complaints about traffic noise, even though our room [402]...

Another stop on our Wendy Wu tour. Staying at the Sichuan Hotel Chengdu (west wing) was a disappointment. Roosm were very small, carpets dirty. You had to be quick under the shower as the shower drain didn’t work very well. So a very quick shower or else you flooded out the bathroom. The toilet ran all night, and after complaining...

Our room was quite small but adequate. Bed linens were good and the bed was comfortable. Wifi was available in the room. Bathroom small but fine.Breakfast was mostly Chinese food. This hotel was within easy access of main shopping streets.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 5 years. With this recent stay I have noticed a good improvement in the rooms offered and would definitely recommend a visit in preference to many over priced western hotels in Chengdu. Hotel is very conveniently located in SHUWA LU. Reception staff are very helpful and pleasant

After a week of Chinese was good to know a McDonalds and Starbucks were not far away. Good hairdresser close to hotel whih did a great shampoo, head massage and blow dry for rmb20. Would not recommend for the...

I stayed here for 2 nights in lovely relaxed Chengdu. It was very central, close to all the major shopping complexes as well as little shops and stalls too. The room was smaller than both in Xi'an and Beijing, but it was clean, tidy and had everything you needed in it. I was on a Wendy Wu tour and wasn't...

This hotel has a great location! That is the only thing good to say. The standard rooms were VERY small and very outdated. The beds were essentially like sleeping on boxsprings. We had three extra pads put on the beds, but it did not help. The carpets seemed very dirty. We were on a non smoking floor but no one...

My two night stay in the west wing of this hotel was the most pleasant of my current China trip sö far . Entering the cool air-conditioned room was heaven.. The room was clean with modern decor and an LED TV. The bathroom shower had hot water and the towels appeared almost new. The bed was comfortable. The free wi...
