This is an old but beautiful Hotel, it's a tradition in the city. This property have large gardens a lot of fountains. Good for a family vacation or business. Food is goos and the service is great, people is really friendly.

It's a really nice place, colonial architecture, well located. The pool is really good, the gardens are really pretty. The restaurant offer different kind of food, traditional and international and is really good. The pizzeria too. Rooms are really comfortable, bed is dig, the conditioner air has a perfect location at room.

It does have charm, but you start to notice how far they've let it run down. It's a shame that the owners have let it get in such poor condition, they should either spend the money to bring this historic hotel back to its former glory, or sell it to someone that would. Inadequately staffed, basic maintenance issues go unchecked...

We left in about 5 kilos of laundry when we arrived. They charged us 560.000 pesos for that service. More than the actual cost for spending a couple of nights in the hotel. Don't stay there. Room stinks like men's cologne from the 80's. Staff isn't nice. Breakfast and pool was ok. Well overpriced bar.

Dear Sanlund, I hope this email finds you well. At any hotel, since it doesn't represent a huge amount in profit, the laundry prices are defined by pieces not by kilo. If our main service was the laundry, we'd likely charge per kilo but this is not the case. Maybe we should have offered you the option to go to...

We stayed at El Prado for 3 nights. It is a beautiful grand looking hotel which such amazing history and has such potential but has clearly lacked investment and attention over years which means the rooms and entrance are very outdated and in need of refurbishment/restoration. The pool area and the main function room are both lovely and we attended...

It’s probably worth staying in the this hotel just for the experience: you can tell it used to be the grandest hotel in the city – you feel like you’re walking through a 1930’s movie… High ceilings, outdoor hallways, beautiful floor tiling… However, although the staff are friendly the hotel is poorly maintained and could best be compared to a...

Really disappointing service - fab looking hotel but the rooms were outdated and slightly unclean, the air conditioning was too noisy to have on at night (so too hot!) and many of the staff were verging on rude. We requested to get some laundry done and questioned if it was priced per kilo (limited Spanish so our fault but...) and...

warm, and inviting, with a good scene and bar service--you will enjoy a break from the heat! The rooms here are not very modern and need some updating (government-owned?). I will add that the bed was nice and firm and very comfortable and the AC worked very well. Service was impeccable. Restaurant was average but had a decent breakfast buffet....
