*Our restroom clogged the day before we are going to check out, so we informed them about it, no update or nothing was done to it. *Rooms were very outdated and improper lighting and gives the impression of a 2 star hostel. *Location is nice and it is close to the centro as well, taxi's would cost around $2-3. This...

I called to book this hotel 2 days ahead of my planned visit to Cartagena. I saw other reviews on this site that gave it good reviews so I decided to stay here. I called the reservations department and spoke in Spanish to the receptionist. I was quoted a price of roughly 186,000 COP per day which is around $63...

The hotel was very convenient. The staff was excellent and always tried to help even when we had language issues. Its a small hotel and there are stairs for the second floor just in case someone has issues you would want to be on the first floor. There is free WIFi but its a bit slow at times. Breakfast was...

The front desk staff tries to please you as much as they can. Mainly caters to Spanish speaking clientele but tries very hard to communicate in English. The room was clean and roomy with an AC, which is a must in Cartagena. The breakfast was included and offered options to please most. Lots of fresh fruits, 3 different kinds of...

I was booked here as part of a package of flights and hotels for a Colombia vacation. This place was so much more than I expected that I had to write here. It had: great location in the Boca Grande (tourism) district, LARGE, clean, modern rooms with great air conditioning, a good buffet breakfast (international foods), and a very friendly...

This hotel is excellent on all fronts. The position is very good and the beach is only a short distance away. If you need to supermarket shop there is the Olympica not far away. The beakfast is very good and the food if ordered from the room service menu is outstanding and all at a very acceptable price.

All in all - very good value for money! Prices are reasonable (and as foreigners we were exempted from VAT so they didn't charge VAT at the hotel!). There were 8 of us: two couples in double rooms + 4 teenagers 15-19 in a Quadruple room. Some more details: The good: 1. The stuff, headed by Orlando at the reception,...

What a great city. Worth the money to come from Australia for. Hop on Hop off bus was a good way to get around. People were great. Lots to see and do. Hotel San Martin was an excellent place to stay. Quiet clean super comfortable with the nicest staff possible. The breakfast was buffet style with the best choices I've...
